Had to get towed here for AAA. Explained the problem to the tow truck driver on my way there and he said sounds like your fuel injector (if I remember properly .. Its been a month or so); made complete sense given the facts. Left the car the night before at Ron Catt. Called in the morning. They were going to take care of it. I called about 4 hours later and couldnt get anyone on the phone past the receptionist (who is actually very nice) so they would call me back in 20 minutes... An hour later I call them. "We were just going to look at it. It will cost $100 just to diagnose". What? First they hadnt touched the car yet and I have to pay that much to diagnose. I still have to follow up with calls just to see if I will get my car back. They finally figure out (or at least tell me) what it is.... Sure enough it was exactly what the tow driver said it was... Should have hired him to fix it. Now they finally asked what part I want. I tell them and they are off again. I call back hours later just to have a conversation about if I needed my car that day or... It wouldnt be until sometime Monday!?! (Note it was Friday). So now they "scramble" to get it done because i couldnt wait (I happen to have a job too!). At the last minute they get it done but with the after market part I didnt want but since they waited so long to take care of everything thats all they could get. My biggest gripe is the complete lack of communication. Its like pulling teeth to get an idea of what is going on. Secondly I never heard of paying $100 for the diagnoses... I cant go anywhere else without another tow anyway (which I did actually have lined up at some point). Ron see,s like a nice enough guy, but I definitely would not recommend this place based on my one experience.

HONEST MECHANIC. those are two words i never knew that i would use in the same statement. but that is what Ron is. I brought him my 2002 Honda Civic EX to see what issues there were with it--i knew there were a bunch. Ron was straight me with what i needed to get fix; if it was worth even getting fixed. i only paid $54 ($6 discount with AAA) for Ron to tell me ALL the issues with my car. Jiffy Lube was charging me $120+ to run the most BASIS diagnostic--ridiculous! i had this thought in the back of my mind of buying a new car, Ron threw his most professional opinion my way. i ended up buying a 2008 Prius with Rons advise. My fiancé drives a 2008 Honda Element and with my Prius, there is NOBODY we trust more than Ron. mind you, the first time i ever went to this auto shop, Ron was the one who answered the phone and was just beyond kind. i went there, and he was a billion times more amazing. AMAZING shop, owner, and staff. Ron Catt has my familys business for life

I brought in my 1967 Cadillac El Dorado, the exterior and interior of this car is amazing. However it needed work. Ron is honest and up front. His team gave the car a thorough inspection , took pictures of the issues, gave a list an an estimate. Very thorough to say the least. I couldnt cover it all so asked what absolutely needs to be done within my budget, no problem. He worked within my budget and what I got back was top notch amazing work. I want to highlight my dual exhaust which looks and sounds amazing, Chrome tips! What! Ron is not the cheapest but the best. Its true you get what you pay for. Every penny spent was worth it! Thank you Ron and Team! Team was amazing. Amazing customer service amazing mechanics, do I need to say more?

Ron was recommended from a body works business that I had used in the past. At the time, I was only seeking advice, with only a possibility of doing business with him. He listened, advised, and couldnt have been more caring. For that particular issue, I stuck with my Honda dealer due to the nature of the problem. However, I have been with Ron since for everything and couldnt be happier. My husband uses him as well! Ron and his other employees are so friendly and knowledgeable and the facility is spotless.

Outstanding service center. They helped me with a Toyota 4 Runner a few years back to pass smog and after that again when it needed maintenance and general service. Because they are so good, when I sold the 4Runner, I got top trade in dollars. Recently they services my 1987 Toyota PU for an oil change. The tech spotted a belt that need to be replaced. They got the belt on same day and later, I was headed to beach! Easy location and comfortable waiting waiting area.

Besides being trustworthy and dependable, he and his staff are very professional and take the time to discuss everything with you so that there are no "surprises". I recently took my car to Catt Auto Care to get my battery replaced and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Ron and his staff are all professional, knowledgeable and very personable. My first ever visit to Ron Catts was a worthwhile experience. I probably saved 50% of what I would have spent at a dealership. They uncovered missing parts and maintenance that was overdue on this second-hand Honda I had acquired from a Nissan dealership. I was in and out of there within 3 hours and Ill take all me cars there from now on. Thanks Ron and crew.
