The food itself was fine, but the quality of service from our waiter and the amount of time it took to receive our food was disappointing. We had reservations for four at 7:30 on a Sunday night; the hostess who sat us at our booth was friendly and polite, and gave us the option of the booth as it would be somewhat quieter than the other tables. Though one of our party was late and didnt arrive until 7:45, our waiter didnt take our order until roughly 8:00. While we received our appetizers fairly quickly, it wasnt until almost 9:00 that we were actually served our main courses. Between 15-20 minutes later, he made a comment as he checked in on us about how slow we were, which frankly baffled us - the restaurant wasnt anywhere close to being full, and we would have gladly been done earlier in the evening had food been served in a more timely fashion. To top it all, crane flies were flying around the corner we were in, a few of which landed on our table and were promptly smothered with a napkin; the waiter simply said that they were a product of the season and handed us a new napkin. Personally, I would have been fine with insects had we been sitting near an open window or outdoors, but our booth was both indoors and far, far away from any windows. Other staff members seemed polite and friendly, and the various dishes we had were all fairly tasty. Parking closer to the beach can get dicey, but we all found plenty of street parking on Lake within a few blocks of the restaurant.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner with my wife. Food: We started off with the zucchini blossoms filled with cheese. They were excellent. Fresh but filled with this amazing ricotta cheese mixture. We followed the appetizer with a salad an pizza. The salad was crisp and fresh with just the right amount of dressing. We ordered the 5 cheese pizza which came very timely after the finish of our salad. It was excellent. The crust was crisp but not over-done. Cheese was just the right amount. Wine: I enjoyed a couple of glasses of a Sangiovese. Their wine menu was varied in all price ranges and styles. Service: Our waiter was very friendly and accomodating. Frequently checking that everything was fine. Will definitely return. It pays to go for a late lunch where it is more relaxing. This place gets much busier in the evening as we noticed later walking back to our car. The place is located only a few blocks from the beach so a nice place for a stroll afterwards.

The restaurant is located a couple of blocks beyond the Main Street retail area that extends from the Pacific City restaurant/shopping area. It is absolutely worth the walk. The food was exceptional and the touristy feel was blessedly absent. The servers - not just our waiter, but the hostess as well as those that cleared plates or refilled water - were consistently friendly and professional. I would suggest you consider starting with the Burricotta, as we did. It was like the Italian version of Greek Saganaki without the fireworks. We followed that up with the grilled double pork chop with Italian herbs. SO good. Ordered and delivered medium rare. Just perfect. Our waiter suggested switching out the potatoes and spinach for a side of pasta. Good move. These guys can make a red sauce. The dinner was a pleasure from beginning to end.

First, DO NOT listen to the review of the woman below me, Connie Clem? Ok, 4 adults AND 4 kids and you think you youre going to get a real dining experience for under $200?! This isnt the Olive Garden and honestly, Im not surprised they rushed you out. This place has been a favorite date night spot for my gf and I for some time now and we always leave very satisfied! Great wine selection, amazing food ( I recommend the Gamberi e Asparagi or the Butternut Squash Raviolis ), and excellent service all very consistent every time we come. A great place for date night. Not a place to bring your kids or your expectations of a truly wonderful dining experience for a ludicrously low cost. Sorry, but not possible!

We came year many years ago, shortly after my (now) husband popped the question. Since I was obviously in a state of shock, I clearly couldnt remember the food here. We came back in over the weekend with some friends and I made reservations given there may be a Friday evening rush. The ambiance here is dimly lit and has a great romantic vibe to it. They do have a 2nd floor, so there is plenty of seating, even for groups. The food here is delicious! My favorite item here had to be the Tortellini Di Pollo - sooo good! The sauce was seriously good and I totally wish I had ordered extra of it.

This place is great. ...very good food and the service is exceptional. Having been in the hospitality/service business for 30+ years, Im very aware of what good service entails. The experience at most places nowadays is poor...indifferent, entitled, just going thru the motions...but NOT this place. They are warm, genuine, and actually care about you being there. Also a great place to go solo when looking for a bite to eat and a glass of wine... I never feel out of place. Alfonso at the bar is my favorite. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

4 adults, 4 children, 2 hour dinner, $200 dinner....sounds perfect, right? Well...not when they ask you to leave. I am disappointed that I spent the money at this restaurant tonight. We were given 10 minutes to finish our conversation after paying the bill so to make room for another "big" party coming in. Just to stand outside and watch them break the table up to 3 smaller ones. I guess they dont want my business anymore. This place is not kid friendly and I will never be eating there again.

I love coming here because of their lobster sauce pasta. Not every italian restaurant carries it on their menu so Im stoked when they do. It taste sooo good if you make it kind of spicy with pepper flakes. I highly recommend it. Its the Conchiglie Gamberi e Asparagi. This location also has a beautiful private dining room with a good looking wine rack and wine selection. You can book private dining online too. I always come here for my birthday.

I actually had my experience via Door Dash. We ordered an appetizer of Calamari (usually not a wise to go item) which was surprisingly crisp and tasty on delivery. Our pasta dishes were both plentiful in portion size, and flavorful in taste. We plan to visit in person for a meal soon. If takeout was that tasty, we suspect that dine in will be pretty incredible.

If you want phenomenal Italian food, great wine and a server who is the epitome of customer service, please run... dont walk.. to Cucina Alessa. I know that all of the wait staff is great. however, Josh is amazing. He is attentive. He knows the menu and the wine. He listens and watches. After he learns more about your tastes, he has fun making recommendations.

Been there may time but this time was different. Saturday, Party of 8, we were seated up stairs. The nose level was so high that even the waiter said I can hear you say it again. The food was good but the service left something to be desired. We got there at 6pm and left at 9pm. Service was sloooo. Seemed to be too many people for the place.
