They were amazing! I took my computer to Apple and they told me that it couldnt be repaired and my best bet would be to pay for data recovery. Every place I called wanted $1,000-$2,000 to recover my data and that it would take a couple of weeks. Well, I took my computer here and not only was it only $149 for my data recovery, I was called the very next morning to notify me that the data recovery was a success and that they were able to get my computer working as well, without being asked. Yep! After 1.5 years of no computer, I have all of my kids pictures & videos along with a working computer and it only cost me $149. Incredible place!!! Id give it 10 stars if I could!

An Apple store technician suggested that I take my MacBook Pro to Illume in La Habra when it was malfunctioning. I had previously obtained a written evaluation by a "Geek" technician that my MacBook Pro could not be fixed due to a "bad motherboard." The owner of Illume, John Nelson quickly diagnosed the problem as being a swollen battery that was pressing on the motherboard. I did not need to buy a new computer; just a new battery. Over the years and with reasonable cost and professional, competent and honest service, I have not sought out another technician for repair and maintenance of my computers.

Offered a truly free diagnostic on an iMac. I was called back with 24 hours of dropping off the machine. The tech gave me an honest assessment even though I ended up not doing the repair as a result. The shop is classy and clean, the technician was knowledgeable and considerate, and I appreciate the honest business.
