Went there with a free 3day promotional pass. Upon pulling up, the entire parking lot was completely full as well as the lights being completely dark. We were then greeted at the front desk by a young hispanic gal wholl remain nameless for the sake of her employment status, but she appeared like the only working out she engaged in was a donut lift to her mouth. She forced us on a tour around the premises which was completely unnecessary being the only things she really spoke about were people she has met in the gym, throwing parties in the hottub and just general, robotic questions. No personality considering shes trying to seal a deal. Concluding the tour she takes down our information and says that we do not qualify for the promotion because we were previously guests before. And proceeds to offer us monthly and yearly plans that were worse than the previous prices before. And after stating this to her, and reasoning with her, she condescends us and asks if we know about economics and compares her deals to a mercedes. Honestly and personally, I cannot grasp how people can be lacking of personality and devoid of soul and humanity when dealing with people on the job. Dont let your job dictate who you are. Also the basketball court here has been closed for over a year and the pool was murky. The overall layout is large and the people there didnt seem that douchey besides for the staff. Sigh.. pass on this gym. Perhaps itll close and turn into a Barnes & Nobles to educate the citizens in this poor city.

Zero star. Horrible customer service. Manager Cassies attitude and customer service alone ruins your day. My friend is on free trial membership and yet they charge him 50 dollars and not even offered apology to him. Manager Cassie kept interrupting while he try to explain the situation and kept insisting that she understood the situation completely which she did not. When I sign up for a membership, she even show her temper to me, interrupting every single time when i ask something. Clearly she does not know anything about customer service and how to LISTEN. I cannot understand how such a person can be a manager.

Bikes in the spin classes are not keep up . the pass 3 times I have gone to spin class I was un able to take the class out of 21 bikes only 10 had foot straps. I spoke to the manger about the problem ( MGR Nick Pacitti ) . WOW he was very RUDE . his response was that the members steal the straps , and that his gym has very high ratings he told me that most members that that take the class has cycling shoes. he also told me I still can take the class with the peddle straps... WOW i told him its a safety issues ..... he was not concerned about that. La Mirada 24 hour manger is VERY , VERY ,VERY RUDE

The people complaining about equipment and dirty bathrooms are flat out lying. There is all brand new equipment upstairs and perfectly maintained equipment downstairs. Anytime some idiot breaks something (cause theyre using it wrong or slamming it) the maintenance guy is always fixing it straight away. And the drinking fountain has been replaced for months... even had a spout to fill up your bottle with. Oh and I forgot to mention they put all brand new flat screens upstairs for the people on the cardio equipment as well.

Im really disappointed in the maintenance and up keep of this gym...the bathrooms are becoming more and more unsanitary, always running out of seat covers, handsaop and floors inside the stalls are always wet, which is a hazard. What is most disgusting is the steam room I had to walk out of it because it smelled like urine. It was very unappealing... I really enjoy this gym and their equipment but the sanitation inside the restrooms is becoming more and more frustrating.

What happened? This place used to be great years ago. Now the locker room is dirty and smelly. Piss on the floor, some stalls with no tp or people too lazy to flush their crap. Its jam packed most of the time. Its really tough to get a squat rack or bench unless you go super early. Broken equipment tends to take weeks to fix. Lastly most of the staff will greet you, but theres one that just reads a book and doesnt even acknowledge you.

Its a great place! Its big and theres almost always a machine that youre looking for thats open. Im only knocking off a star because theyve added a big area that I guess is "Promo"? Its got a bunch of workout stuff that I guess would be used for football training and while this is a bunch of neat new stuff its pushed all the machines closer together making it a little bit cramped when using them.

I couldnt work out there. I was just stunt with the type of people this place attracted. I have never seen so many out of shape people wearing tank tops in my life. And I have worked out at a lot of different places in the states and abroad. The gym was pretty dirty. No one wipes their machine after they use it. They ran out of paper towels twice in the time I worked out there. Just not for me.

This sucks of how you have to pay your monthly bill when they took like 3 weeks off. This is not right and they tell us that we should have went to other places. Then if we do go to other places then we should have paid it to them and not to these foos. Theyre lying on how they took off 3 weeks and they say they did for only a week and half. Dont try to rip people off.

The equipment is fine... The problem is the locker room with the bathrooms being a nasty mess with piss a over the dam place!! The place is fricken packed at all times and it sucks to "try" to workout!!!! Im a family man that just wants to get in.. Hit it hard and go home... Not stare at chicks and lounge around taking up space like lots of people there!!! SHAME!!!

Gym is not kept up at all. Machines and equipment have been neglected. The locker room is disgusting. This is not the only 24 hour like this. I dont know whats going on with 24 hour fitness but they need to get their heads out of their asses and fix their gyms.

This location is usually packed, unless you come after midnight. And they do THE WORST job of keeping their restrooms and locker rooms decently clean. Its disgusting and I cant believe I pay for this service.
