Great place to workout. But the customer service from the entire staff and especially the front desk staff needs to improve. When you come into the gym, the front desk staff just scans your card and they dont say hi or hello, because they are too busy using their cell phone or talking. When your leaving the gym, they dont acknowledge you (Goodnight, have a good day or even thank you), because they are too busy using their cell phones or talking. Thats the one thing that I always liked as a 24 Hour gym member. So please work on your customer service.

As of December 2013, this is a brand new gym with quality equipment. This has been a huge upgrade over the previous Azusa ave. location that had closed down (it had originally been a Ballys Total Fitness). Be careful not to walk into the wrong locker room. The front desk could afford to be a little more friendly and customer service oriented. It has not been too crowded but that is likely to change with the coming new year (and the coming resolutions). You will enjoy this gym as long as proper gym etiquette is followed.

My regular LA fitness was closed for remodeling, so I tried the other nearby gyms. This gym smells like old parmesan cheese. The water fountain smells like cheese. The eliptical smelled like cheese. The stationary bikes smell like cheese. They could really benefit from a deep cleaning. However, there seemed to be enough cardio machines for everyone, so thats a plus.

Staff is very kind and walcoming, today was unforunite day for me, got in a accident, went in to charge my phone but i asked about being a member, they showed me around, told me about classes they offer and THERE IS A DAY CARE THERE AS WELL!! I honestly loved the enviornment, very clean and no bad vibes like othr places ive gone to check out like crunch..

Make sure you negotiate the initiation fee. Do not get ripped off like me paying $140 initiation fee for two people. All my friends are either not paying the initiation fee or paying half. They didnt discuss any options with us. I felt awful being ripped off like this, hopefully people see this comment, you would come prepared, dont be a fool like me. : (

They have a pool, basketb court and a room for handball. They have 50% barbell and dumbell stuff. 25% cardio and the other 25% is assisted weights. You also get to try a 1- week trainer for free. I stopped going here because dumbasses dont know what a 3 way stop is on garvey and the 10.

Been going here since it opened.. wish they would open at 430 am during the week and at least at 7am on the weekends. Some days certain classes are WAY full. Personal trainers are extremely professional. Day care staff is great with infants.. toddlers.. school age kids.

Recently just moved from SF. Luckily my friends cousin works here and joined. Gyms clean, busy at times but a lot of weights and machines. Theres a closer one to my house but doesnt have the same equipment, accessibility, and cleanliness as this one.

Ive been to a handful of LA Fitness gyms and I can say this is at the top as the best one. Yes it gets busy but one thing that makes this place stand out is the way the ENTIRE staff takes time to re-rack and organize the weights.
