SUMMARY: US Storage is the best, I have been here probably 8 years. I have had several local storage units at nearby facilities and I have never as impressed as I am with USS. Karyn the facility manager is what makes this place so great. She goes out of her way to make sure you are in the right unit. She will show you as many units as you want to see. She will be honest with you if you have special items like records, or heat fragile items, tell her and she make every effort to make sure your property is safe. She is always honest and friendly and will give you the best deal possible. Many other places the employee turnover is high, you dont know them, they dont know you. Karyn has always been there for me, and all my needs. The USS is always spotlessly clean and I have better in and out hours than any other facility I have worked with. Karyn and her staff do a wonderful job. When you move in, AND YOU ASK, they have a large truck, with a ramp, that you can borrow free one time. My other old storage unit, if I needed to use the restroom, it had to be when someone was in the office. Here, the facilities are always open, clean and stocked. The access roads surrounding the units are very spacious, important on busy weekend when people are dropping off and picking up their junk. I feel safe as the facilities are closely monitored by several security cameras. Tell Karyn - Chris G sent you! PROS: *Karyn is by far the best facility manager I have experienced, She has been there several years. Customer Service is Number One. *Let you borrow a truck with a ramp for a day. (ASK when getting a new unit) *Clean, well maintained. Clean Bathrooms available always *Well Monitored Security Cameras everywhere *Well ventilated *On site Supervision/Apt, someone is there almost 24/7. *Centrally located, easy freeway and street access to (73, 405, 5, 241) Close to (Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods) CONS: When choosing a unit, pay attention to the lighting if that is an issue for you, some of the units are a bit dark.

I have had my stuff in storage at another place for over 4 years now. The price just kept going up before my very eyes. So, I decided to shop around. I came upon US Storage on Craigslist of all places. Went to their website, which is super informative and super easy to figure out. Then I made the call. Spoke with Karen, super nice, friendly and flexible. Made arrangements to go look a couple units and put a hold on my truck. Ya, they have a truck for you to use, FREE! P.S. Gotta reserve it, goes quickly. I missed my appt, too busy at work, no problem, Karen still held my possible two unit choices, and the possible move date for my truck. Then I missed my next Appt, work again! Now I get a call from the other gal, again super friendly, asking if I will be using the truck?? At this point Im looking like a total FLAKE, I assure her that I am still coming and yes, I need the truck. She informs me what needs to be done since the move date is approaching and other people need a truck too, I need to just give a check for a deposit, they wont cash it, and they give it right back as long as I show to use the truck and it doesnt sit unused. Sounds super fair. I say Ill be there Sunday. I totally flake!!! Monday, Karens back, she calls, not rude, super sweet, great tone, and asks, are you still interested. I just laugh, Im on my way NOW. I get there, she so nice, really mellow kinda lady, shows me my unit choices, does my paperwork flawlessly, I put down the deposit for the truck and I was out the door. Not only am I thrilled with the new place, the price is HALF what I have been paying, they are staffed appropriately and they are super cool. Oh, and the place is really convenient. Moulton and Ridgeroute. Free Truck, low rent, a lift that can take almost your entire move in one to 2 rides, "where do I sign!" This place is the ticket!!!

Today 6/9/2016: I received good customer service when I was arranging to rent and move in to the unit. However, things have changed. Karin did mention to me that I would get a special for 3months, and then it would go up to normal fee, which I agreed. The thing that I wasnt aware was that every 3 months Les then a 7 months they would be increasing the fee up. Called Karin and she tried to explain that it corporate that change the fees. And that a notice was mailed to me. Which I never received. Not by mail or email. Very upset that in less then 7months the fee has increased 2times. Be careful they dont informed that at the beginning. 7th months ago: Hi,This is my first time renting a storage unit. I always heard it was hard and the people in-charge are mean and dont care. I had the best experience ever last Friday. I went in just for information to find out what we need to rent a unit. Karin answer all my question and showed me the different size of storage rooms, she walked me through the whole process and made it easy for me to understand. She has great customer service skills, she even made my three year old daughter happy and kept her entertained while we finish the paperwork. Great customer service by Karin and best price for storage in the area. Thank you so much for taking care of our needs.

I Just wanted let everyone know about my experience at U S Storage. Karen, the lady that helped me at U S Storage in Laguna hills on moultom parkway; was a gem! I just wanted to see what they had because, I wasnt sure if my home was going to be ready to move in or not. My furniture and all my belonging were on their way from the central coast. I was actually greeted by Karen in the parking lot as I was getting out of car, and invited me into the office. I let Karen know right up front, I was not sure if I would even be needing a storage unit, but I had to be prepared . She understood completely and assisted me like I was actually ready to rent right then and there. She showed me three or four sized units and told me about a few options, she really was very kind and very professional with her knowledge for our needs based on what I was telling her. Fortunately I didnt need to rent the storage, my home was completed on time. But I will use U S storage in the future as I move my company down here, Ill be needing the extra space. Thanks to Karen for her customer service willingness to take her time with knowing I was not going to rent that day and she had big smile the whole time she was helping me. Thank you Karen. R. I am at the Laguna Hills Center 6 months now and cant say enough nice things about the property manager Karin, Kevin the relief manager and Tony. They truly are nice people. For those of you at other storage facilities, complaining about the managers, come on over to US Storage Centers Laguna Hills. They will treat you with respect. ManThe people at the Laguna Hills center are not only very professional, they are kind and helpful as well. Karin the property manager helped me transfer from a small storage space to a larger one with ease even though there were several people renting new spaces and one person inquiring. What a hectic day, yet she handled it very well. Kevin who is there on Sunday and Monday is a sweetheart and always has a smile on his face. I thank Karin, Kevin and Tony, the maintenance supervisor for all they do. one one one
