Excellent salon for those who wish to have their hair professionally groomed and then be able to walk away and duplicate the style yourself until your next visit! I began with Saverio approximately 8 months ago. I have only had 3 stylists in the last 40 years but I needed someone who understood the workings of my difficult hair. I walked in, waited approxmimately 15 minutes until he completed his clients hair and then we spoke. He LISTENED while I explained what I wanted to do. He then gave me his opinion, did not pressure me into making an appointment and just said to let him know if I wanted him to do my hair or if I wished to have one of his other stylists do it (he is more expensive of course!). I liked him immediately and made the appointment. Never been sorry! From the first appointment to present, he does not change. He says "talk to me" when I walk in to find out what my needs are and I speak of change of styles and he gives opinions and we go from there. Yes, he does put hair products on his station that is prudent to my type of hair; however, it is only as a reminder in the event I am running low. NO PRESSURE whatsoever to purchase. Everyone smiles, asks if I would like coffee, tea or water or refills. It is one of the most pleasant atmospheres to be in for a few hours! The bookings are geared to your needs which means time is taken with each client. Saverio is so passionate about his work, his stylists and his salon and how everything must be A+ at all times. Even washing your hair includes extra time so you may have the massage that begins the relaxation of your total expereince! You have to love how the client is the # 1 priority at ALL times. The fact they have not moved from the LH Mall for over 18 years tells you how well thought of they are in Orange County as well as by Redken! It is a training center for new as well as those stylists who want refresher training. Bottom line, there are more than one good stylists to select from but if you want the professional who will work hard to make you happy, listen to your opinion and then be the consummate professional to help you feel like you are the only one at that point in time, walk in and speak to Rosemary, Saverio, or any of the other stylists and you will understand why I am so high on this salon. One last thing. I always get a friendly reminder via email and then a call from Rosemary two days prior. She is the best as she is always smiling and always there to see to it that you are taken care of before, during, and after. Want to feel special - give Julian Hans Salon a try!

Are you tired of going to a salon and getting a bad hair cut? Are you frustrated that your stylist does not listen to you? Are you tired of walking out of a salon and your hair looks good, but when you have to do it yourself, you realize you got a bad cut? Well, I was tired of all these scenarios and I was paying high prices at fancy salons. I went to Julian Hans about 6 months ago and immediately Saverio was there to look at my hair, show me what would look good on me, he LISTENED to what I wanted and he took extra special care in how they were going to fix my hair from all of the bad cuts that I had received. Saverio takes the time with all of the customers in the salon (not just his clients) - he walks around and makes sure that the stylists are giving you what you want, that you are happy and that you are getting the best service. Upon coming into Julian Hans (and not just the first time), you are always greeted by Rosemary with a friendly smile (and if she is not there, then other staff that is just as friendly). Each and every person that works at Julian Hans is so helpful and nice - they treat you like you are one of the family - not just another customer coming into get their hair done. Im sure you read lots of reviews about places where people say the place is great - but this is no joke - Julian Hans is probably the best salon around. They really know what they are doing and if you have a problem with your hair (like I did, bad cut, over processed and damaged), they will come up with a plan to get your hair looking healthy, shinny and just what you have always wanted. I am so happy to say that after a few times to the salon, my hair is looking fabulous and I have not had so many compliments on my hair in the past few months - no more hiding my bad hair cut with my hair in a pony tail - Thank you Julian Hans!!! I recommend that you try Julian Hans - you will not be disappointed!!!

Took a chance and it was more then worth it! I woke up needing a hair cut and color knowing that most places are not open on Sundays. Thankfully I came across Julian Hans. Called and went in. Could not have gone any better. Saverio was the man of the hour! and Megan the other stylist there was really wonderful and both welcoming the minute you step in the door! I was worried about taking my hair color back to my original color as I had it darker and he mentioned "bleaching" but he really explained everything step by step and showed me pictures that he had done for print. So I went for it, and IT WAS THE BEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE ABOUT MY HAIR. Not only did he bleach, color and cut, he also explained my hair to me and suggested shampoo and conditioners to use and WHY...so for those of you who think they try to upsell on the products, they dont or he would have sold me a 30.00 bottle of shampoo vs. a 15.00, but it wasnt for my hair. he even showed me that I have curl in my hair (which I laughed at when he first told me) but there it was! It was a bit more pricy for me but only because I knew that I had to do color repair to get back closer to my natural color. But it was worth it. It was by far the best hair experience I have had since moving to California 4 years ago. I will be a returning client, and it would be happy with any of their stylists. Saverio also said if I got home and didnt like something to call and he would fix it for me. At this point the only thing I dont like is I cant stop playing with my hair in the bathroom mirror! thank you Julian Hans, Saverio and Megan for a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

Julian Hans Salon is by far the best salon ive been to! they have great customer service. When you first walk in you are greeted by anyone who is up at the front and they make you feel at home. They ask how youre doing and even offer a beverage! (very few places offer beverages besides just water.) i have been two different times one time for my color and another for my cut. My color was done by Ashleigh! let me tell you she knew exactly what i wanted and didnt try to talk me out of it! she treated my hair before and after the color service to make sure my hair was in great condition for applying the color so the color would come out evenly and also treating my hair after so it would remain healthy! my second visit i came in and saw Saverio! Saverio did a wonderful job listening and covering over what would be best for my hair cut design and worked with me and didnt try to say of no lets just do this or do that. He listened to what i had wanted and worked with me to create a design that would give my hair body and bounce. Every stylist here was very welcoming and said hi when we had come across each other. the stylist and receptionist would check on me to make sure i had a beverage or if i needed a refill. i would highly recommend this salon for anyone who is looking for a salon that they can go to and feel confident about and not worry about having a mistake done to their hair. at julian hans salon they take great care of you and make sure you are 110% please with your service before you leave, and if youre not 110% please they will make sure to ask what they could do to make your visit here the best you have ever had!
