This is the first move that I had to coordinate. We were moving from Long Beach to Orange and needed to do so the day after Christmas. I got 2 quotes, one from Ace Relocation and another from their competitor. My sales person was Larry Buckle. He was my first appointment, so I didnt know what to expect. He arrived, opened up his IPAD and we started walking through my place. He quickly punched in information as we walked through and gave me quick tips along the way to help save money/ time. The move address was punched into this IPAD and he was able to confirm on the spot the distance required to travel. He was very thorough in his estimate and because he was using an IPAD, the quote was generated as soon as we were done. The quote was a "Not to Exeed" quote, so it would be the max I would have to pay and if they finished in less time, then I would get reimbursed. Also, Larry shared that the Ace is big on recylcing, so I can come by the warehouse and pick up used boxes and tape for free! This really helped save us money. Ive only discovered Larrys efficiency after I met with the competitor. I expected the same level of technology used for the estimate, instead she walked around with a pen and a form making notes. Since she didnt have an instant map in hand, she overestimated the distance between the 2 addresses. The quote was also a "Not to Exceed", however, it was $200 over what Ace quoted me and they did not have the added benefit of free moving boxes. The move went smoothly and started/ended as planned. We were contracted for 2 guys but they crew came in with 2 extra men. They were very careful with my furniture and finished without damaging our walls. We were very satisfied with the work and and would use Ace Relocation again.

We did an interstate move from Los Angeles to Boston. We decided to hire a moving company rather than haul the stuff ourselves. I was very concerned about the delivery people not showing up on the promised day, not showing up at the destination until later than promised, getting stuff lost or broken, and especially having my stuff be hostage while they think up more charges. After lots of research, and having people come to my house for estimates, I went with Ace Relocation, which represented Atlas. None of my fears happened. The whole process was excellent, and there were no surprises. Ace was actually more expensive than others, but thats because the others low-balled the weight (which wouldve led to surprise charges). Ace estimated the weight pretty accurately, and when we came in under the weight, we werent charged as much as the quote. Also, Atlas had over 2,800 trucks (according to the Department of Transportation website) which seriously increased the chances of on-time arrival and delivery. One company that gave a much lower quote (they low-balled the weight) had four trucks for interstate travel, which means there was no way I would get my stuff picked up and delivered as promised. At the destination, the delivery men couldnt park very close and had to walk about 250 feet to get to the elevator from the truck. I didnt hear a single complaint (they kept saying thats their job) and everything went very smoothly. Overall, we are very happy with their service, and it was totally worth the money to have them move our stuff rather than doing it ourselves.

edit: when I wrote this I was frustrated because I thought they lost our couch. They actually ended up finding it and bringing it to our place the next day. Also they ended up reimbursing us and paying our rent and food for the weeks they were late. So they made a few mistakes but they really actually seemed to care about making it right. Ive had moving companies who didnt care at all and Ace did. I suggest them! Are you looking for movers who will lose your stuff? Who will break your stuff? Who will move your broken and lost stuff much later than promised in your “binding contract” at a higher price than other companies? If so Ace Relocation Systems is for you! Facts about our recently completed move: -They lost half our sectional, recliner, and entry table. The sheer incompetence of this is actually kind of impressive (how do you lose a couch?). -They broke our coffee table. -They delivered it 50% later than promised in our “binding contract” -Their costs were much higher than other companies estimates but we went with them because of the reviews and the notion that higher cost would lead to higher quality service. We went with Ace because of the good reviews despite the higher cost. Stay away. They are just as bad as the other companies who will move your stuff much cheaper. With all that said Anthony and Will were great and worked hard. Really appreciated them.

The folks at Ace Relocation were spectacular! I was only doing a local move, but its amazing how much stuff can be crammed into a three bedroom house. I was referred to them via an ad in the AAA magazine. They were the fourth company I had contacted and were the most affordable and professional. Larry Buckle was prompt, courteous and extremely friendly when he came out to complete the estimate. He even said that if I needed boxes to just swing by the warehouse for whatever I needed. Jeanette Dousharm and the other support staff were in regular contact and ensured that everything was in place for the day of the move. On moving day, the moving team arrived right on time and moved with such speed that the entire house was packed and ready to go within 3.5 hours, a feat which I would not have believed possible. Similarly, on the off-load, things moved smoothly and carefully, even maneuvering a heavy, awkward sofa-sleeper upstairs and around a corner to get it where I needed it. I would recommend them without reservation, both for the price and service!

This was my second move with Ace Relocation. The first was handled by their Maryland office to move me to Southern California. The excellent experience I had with this first move led me to contact them again for an in-state California move. I received quotes from other national moving companies but Aces was the most competitive. They were flexible even if you found a lower quote that they would try and match the price. On moving day the movers didnt come until early afternoon, but when they did there were several qualified employees, and many hands made the work light. The inventory of my items was correct and detailed, and they took special care of my spinet piano. At my destination there were no items missing from the inventory and they arrived as scheduled. Minor bumps and scratches to be expected when doing any long distance move, but all of my items were returned in good shape. I would highly recommend Ace and they will be the first quote I receive for my future moving needs.

I used Ace Relocation for a cross country move from Washington, DC to Los Angeles and would highly recommend them. Robyn, my moving consultant in DC, came to my house and gave me a very thorough quote and made some suggestions for how to keep costs down. In the end, I had them pick up my stuff in DC, store it in Maryland for a couple of months and then bring it out to me in LA, and everything worked perfectly. The movers in both DC and LA arrived on time and were incredibly fast. Everything was accounted for in LA and nothing was damaged in the move. I highly recommend Ace to anyone looking for long distance or local moves. The whole process of moving with them was straightforward, and their customer service is excellent every step of the way.
