Laura is very skilled at cutting mens hair. My hair is unruly, short or long, and I went from haircutter to haircutter for years. Ive stuck with Laura since I found her, when she worked for the former owner, before she took over Simpsons herself. For this neighborhood, the haircut is a remarkable bargain at around $20 plus tip. I have had plenty of more expensive haircuts that werent as good. I occasionally use Simpsons other haircutters when Lauras not available--they are hand-picked by Laura--and when I have used them, they have been top-notch.

Haircut good, racism bad... I am usually pretty understanding of people who have racist beliefs given regional and historical cultural differences, but it is not okay to share your racist views with your customers. Laura did a good job cutting my hair and it seems like shes experienced at what she does and works really hard, but if she cannot modernize her view of others she should at least keep her opinions about different races to herself. Its a shame because there arent a lot of good places to get a haircut nearby, but I cannot return here.
