Im not happy with the recent service performed. I brought in an old Toyota 130K mile used car and asked for either a 30/60/90K service and a complete diagnostic as well as recommendations. All they did was replace the spark plugs, changed the air filter, transmission fluid, and oil change which were the main things but I did not get a list of what else were checked. Do I need timing belts? Water pump condition? Radiator? doors and hinges lubricated? tires pressures/rotates? Wiper blades conditions? Electrical? bulbs? I did ask for brake inspection and they said it was ok... (huh? what are my pad sizes?). In the past when I brought to the dealer they gave me a list of things they checked and recommendations. All I got was an itemized bill of the 3 things from above. Is this what the 90K service is? I also asked for a ride back to work and what they did was took my car and drove me... and while backing up my car the lady drove on the pavement and scratched my tire cover (she refused to acknowledge this but later said sorry). Yes, the "Courtesy Shuttle" is YOUR car! Last time I took my other car in I was given a "loaner" that was almost out of gas and was about to fall a part. I have done service here multiple times in the past but looks like customer service needs improvement. I had a chance to discuss with the manager and expressed my concerns for the recent service but seems that they didnt care. As such I will bring the business to somewhere else. Id rather pay a little more and get peace of mind and good customer service. In case youre looking at those discount coupons... those are for new customers only... loyal customers dont get any discounts (even when you spend > $500). To be fair, the work that was done was good (as it should be) but customer service is something else...

I first became attracted to Jason when he was at Vickers. He and his staffs honesty and no nonsense explanations has kept me, and all that Ive recommended him to, as forever customers. When Vickers abruptly closed I thought Id have to again go through the agony of looking for another honest service center. What a relief it was when Id heard from him that he had decided to go it alone in his own shop in Milpitas near the Great Mall, which is actually closer to me than he was at Vickers! Thanks Jason and I can only hope that you attract enough customers like me, that want honesty and only recommendations that are required to keep me on the road trouble free, to be profitable and carefree to be around for a long time.

I followed Jason from Vickers Auto to what is now his own shop in Milpitas. Hes honest and hardworking and Ive been so impressed that I continue to go see him even when now that hes located farther away from me. His prices are awesome and he almost always gets my car business. Im glad to hear that the techs from the previous location decided to stay with Jason because I can continue to have the trust and loyalty of these guys whove taken care of my car for over 3 years!! Jason Gloria is the most attentive, honest auto service and mechanic that Ive had work on my Toyota and Mazda cars. Hes never pushy, points out whats urgent to be addressed and potential issues that may arise down the road. Ive relied on Jason to service my two cars for several years now, first at Vickers and now at Auto Care Specialists. Both cars, one domestic and the other foreign, have a bunch of miles on them so theres a fair amount of maintenance involved.
