I wish I never went to this place! This review is just to guide if you have my Hair type! It was my first time did a lot of research read good reviews about Simple Hair (Most review has Vy - The owner, May be she is good but an appointment with her takes more than 20 days ). If you have Asian long thick hair and mild waves please avoid going to this place. My hair cut looked wow but only when its straighten(Heavy ironed) which no one does on regular basis. Basically the Stylist ironed my hair made it broom straight and then gave me the haircut. It looked good but after wash its a complete BIG mess. The front bangs my fav are just gone. Total mess!! Cant keep it open as the layers curl at the bottom giving it a chopped look. Recommended only if you have straight hair. Not mentioning the stylist name as she was sweet but her expertise are limited! Waste of money and time!

Ive been to this salon several times. I really like the owner, Vy. She is very friendly and nice. She is good at imagining what kind of hair and color would look good on you and honestly recommend you not doing the things you like (even though it might decrease her profits) because she cares that when you walk out of the stores, you should look stunning. She often gives me advice and shows me how to keep my hair nice. Others there are pretty friendly too. The salon looks nice and clean in general. With new style hair supporting machines. Though the price is a little bit high, I think its worth it, and I would recommend my friends to come here.

Usually I cut my hair in my country but because I have to stay for a long time in Cali, I went there. A nightmare: I asked for my usual haircut ( the sides almost shaved and longer on the top) you know this trend like soccer players. He totally ruined it : the top is super short and the sides not even shaved/short. I even asked him to shave the "bad hair" in my neck because they dont take the initiative to do it... never seen this in my life. Now I have to wait 3 months to get my hair back on the top. Cant wait to go back in Europe.

It was an ultimate experience of getting Japanese Hair straightening from simple hair saloon. Even though i showed up late for my appointment, they did not say anything instead considering my emergency they helped me by accommodating my appointment that particular date. I really appreciate Vee and Tran not only for their hard work they both put to do my hair treatments but also want to thank them for their patient and accommodating me same day and kept open their salon till late night just for me. I would love to come back.

My friend made an appointment to dye her hair, and it was an "appointment" they told her they didnt have time to do it even though it was an "appointment" they told her they can do it in sessions and my friend said that it is okay we can do the first session today and they said they didnt have time. What is the point in even making an appointment at this point. The hard part was that my friend was from out of town. They wasted my friends time and I will never recommend such an unorganized hair salon place to anyone.

these guys take forever to start. I made appointment at 10:15. But I was on my way to come to simple hair there was some construction going on which made me go to long route. That makes me ten min. late.they started at almost 11:20. I told them I have some other appointment at 11:45. They could say no come at later time. But they made me wait for almost one hour. And I couldnt go to my other thing.

Absolutely beautiful job! Vy did the permanent Japanese Straightening on my hair and I am very happy with it! After years of trying to manage my poofy, wavy, frizzy hair--- I dont know why I didnt do this sooner! Vy is very talented, professional, and the salon is comfortable. I felt taken care of. Pretty cheap but amazing service! I have visited this place multiple times and no complaints so far. They have lots of catalogue for hair style or haircut, and they good pretty good job suggesting haircut suitable for the face and replicating. They also offer hair wash without any extra charges.

As typical of these businesses, its busier on Fri, Sat. Try to make an appointment a week ahead for those times. Nice folks and a good deal. A step up from the cheapest haircut places. I recommend Paul for haircuts.
