Does this place ever answer the phone? They delivered my package to my work on a SATURDAY when I specifically stated instructions that this was going to a business and to deliver Monday - Friday. My tracking notification stated it was available for pickup at the post office Saturday evening. I came to work today to find NO NOTE left either on my door or in our mailbox, and was told it would go out for delivery today after calling them this morning and listening to the phone ring for 3 minutes before someone decided to answer. Our mail has come and gone for the day, no package, and now Im sitting on the phone listening to it ring and ring and ring... This post office is a perfect example of why everyone HATES USPS!!!

I would give negative stars if I could. I have ordered stuff from the childrens place and sears both the packages were delivered to office by UPS. I received notification that the post office delivered my packages . We were home, I saw the mailman put the mail in the mailbox , no packages!!! I went to post office they told me packages were delivered I told them no they werent. In the end I was basically told to bad shows they were delivered. Im constantly getting other people mail and Montclair is on 3 blocks big it shouldnt be that hard. OR there is a mailman who is keeping holiday packaes casue same thing happened last year. I told them not to deliver packages to me anymore I will pik them up!!1

I had ordered on eBay I was supposed to receive my box two days later since its a two-day Priority Mail and I did receive it but I received it opened stuffed with bags left at my door like seriously what else do you guys need we pay for our stuff and all you seem to do is take it!! seriously this is a reason why I hate coming to this USPS nothing is left the way the sender sends it like you guys just dont care!! the supervisor needs to take action before we speak to the local news and let them know whats going on and have them investigate whats going on and who is the thief in there seriously done with this stupid crap if I could pick up somewhere else it will be better

I agree. The phone just rang and rang. I have been receiving mail for a previous tenant and have written on the envelope each time "No longer at this address" and "No forwarding address" or "Forwarding address unknown"I have even taken the mail to the post office and told them. The response was "There is probably a new carrier" That was a month ago. Ive counted and I have written on a total of 19 pieces of mail, that is not including the ones I did not bother to mark on or returned to the post office. As of today, I am still receiving this other persons mail. Obviously the carrier does not care to read my notes.

Out of the last 5 packages I have ordered I have only received one. It took a week to get ahold of someone and of course they said they would "look" for it but I dont think they really did. I dont understand how they can deliver it to the wrong house and the postmaster blames it on " trainees". They dont take any responsibility for the items lost because they dont have insurance. I should not have to buy insurance to get a small package in the mail, but maybe I should with all the packages they misdelivery ( throw in someone elses mailbox). If I could have all my mail come another way I would do that.

This office is a prime example of why people hate the Post Office and why it is going the way of the Dodo bird and Pony Express. They never answer the phone. Our carrier could not, for the span of two months, seem to figure out the difference between our apartment number and our neighbors, and they reported a certified letter sent to me signed for and delivered when I never laid eyes on it. The only seemingly functioning part of this office is the supervisor Frank who will go above and beyond to fix the bumbling idiocy of his inept staff.

This particular post office, or at least the people that deliver the mail are liars. They said they attempted to "deliver" our package but said no one was home and left a message. Both are lies. They neither rang the door bell, which it does work, and didnt leave a notice. Two people at least are always on premises so they cant say they tried. No wonder people dont like to use them. Wish another company could deliver mail so they can show how incompetent of a organization USPS is.

Im so mad at these mail people they keep mistaking my mail i always get my neighbors mail and they get my and the most upsetting thing is that the new woman that delivers the mail she always reads the mail and spends like 5 minutes reading the packages and if you ask her to get your mail she ask !!!oh so ehat did you buy !!! f...k what the f.k does she wants to know what i get or buy. Man im so piss right now

Useless post office. Never pick up there phone. My very important document was never received by the recipients and the post office wont pick up and I cant drive due to a surgery. Why have a phone when one cant call. The 4rth day today and still no solution.

Worst customer services ever. It took them almost a month to update my change of address. All my mail got forward back to sender. Pomona post office is way better than Montclair. If they had a zero thats what I will rate them. be happy to get a star

TERRIBLE!!! THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONE EVER!! NO HELP FROM THESE CLOWNS!!!! BEEN WAITING FOR MY SHIPMENT FOR OVER 3 WEEKS AND NOBODY WILL PICK UP THE PHONE OR CALL ME BACK! THEY TAKE THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK AND LEAVE IT ON THE DESK. TOTAL BS!

I dont understand why they have a phone number when you can never reach anyone. It is not just this location but a huge problem with the post office. All the ratings I have read say the same thing . Impossible to reach anyone when you call.

Every time my order gets sent to the post office I never receive it or I finally manage to get it weeks later. When ever I call to ask about my packages the phone is always busy or just rings and no ever answers!! Frustrating!!!
