UPDATED REVIEW: Originally, I was rather mad at this post office for not delivering my packages, not redelivering them on request, and not answering phone calls, but turns out pretty much everything was a miscommunication. For one, use the local number to call them, not the crappy national number. They arent always available to take calls but every time I did talk to them they were polite and rather helpful. As for why my packages werent delivered, turns out the parcel lockers in my apartment complex broke (not sure how all of them simultaneously broke) and it was my apartment office that said they werent accepting packages until they fixed the lockers (hence the failed delivery). So the whole fiasco was my apartments fault, not the post office. My only true complaint is that I (as the buyer) cant override USPS policy and ask them to leave my package in front of my door when theres no other option. I understand why this policy exists, and its reasonable that USPS doesnt want to deal with stolen packages and insurance payouts, but in a situation like the one Im in, it means I have to pay ~$20 in transportation just to go pick up my package at the post office, or wait until the weekend when Im not at work to have it delivered when Im home. Either way, USPS needs a better scheduling tool so I can be sure Ill be home to receive/sign for important packages. TL/DR: Service from this location was good, my apartment complex made an irresponsible decision without notifying residents, and USPS needs better delivery windows to combat situations like these.

PASSPORTS ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! I am a firm believer in supporting our community, but this Upland Post Office is by far the worst government agency that I have ever tried to do business with.... worse than the DMV!! I have tried 3 days in a row to get my daughter her passport. Day one was my fault. I wasnt aware of the hours (9a-3p Mon-Fri). Day two, with three kids in tow, Im there at 2:30 and it is closed. When I inquire, the clerk (while not even looking up at me) says "she closes early today"...WHAT??? Thats not what the sign says. Of course, being a government employee, she couldnt care less about customer service or acting the slightest bit empathetic. Day three... I get there again well before 3pm, kids in tow. There is a man waiting, I take a number, another man waiting takes a number (who was apparently there before me but didnt take a number). The clerk comes out and informs me she can only has time to do two more passports that day because she has to close exactly at 3, and that the two men were there before me!!! I guess the U.S.P.S. thinks closing at three means you really only open and available until 2:45. In my world, when a sign reads that you are open til 3, that means you are taking customers until THREE!!! FURIOUS, I again left with my documents and no passport ordered. I will go anywhere but here to do ANY of my post office business.

Our neighborhood mailbox got rusted at the bottom and fell down in March. As of now August Im still having to drive to the post office to pick up my mail. How is it taking so long for them to place up a mailbox for us to receive out mail. Are they having people or are slow mentally in order for them to think of a way of how they are going to place it up. A 14 year old can get this problem solved quicker than they can. I have had my house for 6 years and have never not received my mail and bills. Now that Ive been going there all of a sudden my car payment, my house payment, my edison bill, my water bill that are due in 4 days havent been delivered to them for me to pick up these past two months!! Give me a F***ing break like Im supposed to be as retarded as these people are!! Its people not knowing how to do their jobs!! ITs bad management!! All I want our my damn bills and guess what?! I cant get them not because of the companies but because its UPLAND POST OFFICE!! Who is managing this place?!!! Are you eating a donut not training your people scratching your head not getting how to solve problems!??? I need to put a class action lawsuit and have every person on my block sign for the stress and time and the loss of my personal information. Hardship!! The only good thing out of this is going to be me suing them.

Had the exact same experience as the previous poster. Two kids in tow, arrived there at 2:30PM, only to have the door literally shut in my face on Friday, because the lady who is handling passports wants to go home on Friday at 3PM on the nose. I told her that the website says 3pm, and she told me that she has other things to do before closing. THEN CHANGE YOUR HOURS. If this is in line with USPS service guidelines (strongly doubt it - more likely just a lazy employee), then change the hours you show as being available to process applications. You are working in a customer oriented position. You are providing a service which we are paying you for. If you dont like doing your job, get a different one. Just flat out mean.

This place is ridiculous! Worst customer service ever. These people refuse to answer their phones. I have a Drivers License that was supposed to be sent that I have yet to receive. It has been over a month and DMV has no record of it going back to them. I work 6 days a week 30 miles away from Upland so you can see how time is something I dont have. I just dont get it, why have a phone line if youre not even going to pick up the phone? Even the surrounding post offices informed me that they refuse to answer their phone calls even when they try to call. Wow. Based on my experience and majority of everyones comments here, some things need to change. As a new member of this city, this is an embarrassment!

I lost my wallet and went in right away to the dmv to request a duplicate license, they said in about 2 weeks I should be receiving it in the mail. I have been waiting 2 months now, per the dmv, it was delivered and sent back because no one picked it up....that doesnt make sense when it should have been in the mail box. Per DMV, if the license was mailed to the wrong address it would have been returned. This scares me because we get other peoples packages that have completely different street names but the same number, I wonder if this is what is happening to me but vise versa. And I too have been calling with no answer which makes it hard with my 8am-5pm job to make time to go in an speak to someone.

Its been two times that they have not delivered a package to my address because supposedly its an incorrect address when its not. Another package was "delivered" to my mailbox but when I went to check it was not in there. I went back to the post office to and they told me to check the next day to see if its in the mail. Why would my package be in my mailbox the day after its been "delivered". I went for a week straight and the only thing they told me was to call the postal inspector service where my problem was still not solved. On top of everything, every time you call this post office they never answer. Doesnt matter what time of day you call. The line will just ring.
