worse place ever. the asian guy / owner PROMISES THIS AND THAT - ANYTHING to get your insurance biz. then 3 days later decides to tell you this machine is broke, that machine is broke and NEVER COOPERATE with you...hes only in it for insurance $$ and plays mental games with you. and games with your car - leaving you with NO transportation to go to work for 3 weeks!! unreal!! These guys are being sued for insurance fraud. And btw: the tire came loose AFTER they worked on it and I had to take it to 2nd opinion – the 2nd opinion said those crooks tampered with the brakes too??!! THE JOB WAS TRANMISSION ONLY !!!– not brakes, not tires, not whatever bogus scams they did to customers. Mark my words – these guys not only ROB you 6 ways to Sunday upside down backwards and laugh at you during and after they do it with a Bologne sandwich in a*s in tow, they LOOOOVE CONFRONTATION, BEING COMBATIVE AND BLACKMAIL AND BULLYING YOU! They will DAMAGE YOUR CAR make no mistake. theyve had complaints at BBB - GO VERIFY. they use their buddies and families for fake "favorable" reviews --> FREE FALSE advertising because really - what do you know?...that these "fake pretend networks" play with consumers. when really the negative reviews - no matter how slight - are truthful because - who is 5 stars / 100% - are YOU YOURSELF that flawless 100% ?

Ive been a customer of Truman Auto Car (TAC) for about 4 years and my personal experience is very positive. TAC provides very good repair quality, reliable service and very fair pricing. They dont have fancy waiting rooms with TV or free coffe but it is well compensated by good old fashioned quality service and a fair reasonable price. I would like to share my recent experience. One of my vehicles headlight bulbs stopped working and needed to be replaced. Since I was in Sunnyvale and didnt want to get fix it ticket I decided to call a local dealer for my vehicle. Long story short - I would have to schedule the repair for the next day, the repair would take about two-three hours (according to their Service Dept) and cost about $80. I just drove back to Morgan Hill, took my car to Truman: 15 minutes later my headlight was fixed, cost $20 and no waiting. Well do I need to say more?!? Way to go Truman.

They did not even replace the oil filter with dirty oil. They also replaced incorrect brake pads that incurred more damage - when i finally took it to another shop, they had to re-do the entire thing and charge everything double = the 2nd opinion said theyve never seen such sleazy, substandard, dishonest work done and to report them to appropriate agencies! These conmen are total waste of time, stay away stay away warn everyone unless you want to get scammed! BUYER BEWARE ! - these conmen use their family friends to post fake "positive reviews" as free advertising. you dont know what discounts they were offered in exchange for their "positive reviews" IT AINT TRUE IF THEY BRIBED FOR IT! those fake reviews / false advertising even sound orchestrated and contrived.

I went to 3 other shops, all of them quoted anywhere from 300 to 500 dollars more for a catalytic converter installed for my Saab. I called all the Saab delerships in the bay area, i finally got the best price possible on the part i needed. I have known Kieth for over 6 months, he got me a better price then the dealership on the same part and the labor rate was reasonable....i suggest that you get to know your mechanic, and have your vehicles serviced regularly. See if and when they "Recomend" a service, if it is really needed. When you need work done on your car, you need someone that you can trust, not the cheapest price or the best sales pitch.. Paying more does not always mean better work, just means you got suckered.

For over ten years I used Truman. When Keith was on hand, I was given quality service and fair prices. Since Keith left, the integrity of the business has gone downhill fast. I had my clutch replaced, and the new clutch began "failed" in less than 2 years. So they recommended a new one, which I paid for, and which started failing in less than 1 year! So I brought it back, only to be told my car needed a new transmission. SO, I wasted over $700 on a second clutch when what I really needed was a new transmission, and they failed to catch that. I always felt lucky to have found a reliable, fair auto shop, but thats not Truman anymore. Im taking my business elsewhere. ps. my car was FILTHY when I finally got it back.

I have both my Montero and Maxima taken care of by Keith and his crew since their opening in Morgan Hill and have been a completely pleased of the service, workmanship and price they have provided me so I keep coming back. Their extended weekend schedule on Saturday and Sunday is essential for a busy professional like me who hardly could afford any down time during the regular week days. More importantly, unlike 95% of the autocare shops out there, I dont once get the feeling of being nickeled and dimed or fleeced with Keith and his crew. I love that feeling that I can trust a service provider and that I get equal or more value in return for whatever the cost I pay. I get that with these guys every time.

Truman Auto Care is the best! Truman AC has serviced our cars for several years now and our experience as customers has been great every time. Truman AC is honest, their entire service team is top notch, they are smart troubleshooters and are always looking for a way to save you money. They communicate the situation very well and provide clear choices during the repair process. These folks do not shotgun their diagnoses which, at other shops, can end up costing you a lot of money. I have always felt taken care of by this team rather than "taken" like you get at other shops. I will never take my car anywhere else for servicing. I highly recommend Truman Auto Care for your servicing needs.

Cool thing I like about this place is its a mom & pop family run business where the guys talk to you like youre a real person... unlike those franchised factories that push you down an assembly line. Keith gives the straight scoop as to whether something really needs to be done now, for your own safety... or if it can wait a few weeks/months...if thats helpful. Convenient as all get out because its right in the middle of Morgan Hill across from the MH Community Center. To top it off, hes open 7 days a week. Theyve done me right every time...and they stay busy for good reasons. Even had a coupon for smog checks. Gotta love it!

Great place to take your car! Had wheel bearings done and bad hesitation checked there. He kept in constant contact with me on the status of the car and let me know his thoughts and prices up front. He even went out of his way to double check other thoughts he had to make sure the solutions were the right ones. Plus hes fast to boot. Keep in mind he wont detail your car or add any fluff after working on it. If youre looking for a "full service" type shop, this isnt it. However, his prices are awesome and I typically got my car back the next day (for simple fixes and part availability), so I was cool with that.
