I had my beautiful wedding at this venue in early March, and am just now getting settled in from are honeymoon so I had to write reviews where ever I could about the outstanding service I recieved at this venue. I was late in my planning and this venue was recommended to me by a friend in October. Luckily the day I called to schedule a tour/meeting the owner was willing to meet me right away. He showed me around, and informed me that they have another location if I was interested- which I was not since I fell in love with the beautiful wall of windows overlooking fields of green grass, and a lake. To my surprise and pure LUCK my date was OPEN! The package they offered included everything...food, sodas all night, champagne toast- no extra charge like so many other places for table cloths, and chair bows! (For an extra charge they included the cake, and open bar.) I had a choice between mexican food and italian food, and decided to go with the Chicken Marsala which was absolutely delicious!!!! With not a lot of time for planning the event people (I believe it was the owner, and his brother-not sure though) were so accomodating. I even was able to get into the facility by 12 noon for my florist to decorate, and my wedding did not start until 4- which was not aloud at many of the other facilities we toured! I have to say that my special day could not have been better. My family and friends were very impressed-and had a wonderful time dancing the night away. My ONE complaint/regret is that I didnt pay the extra cost to add extra time on to the reception~ I wish it would have lasted longer :( My little cousin will be having her Quincenera there or at the other venue in the fall we liked it so much. THANK YOU CASA DE LAGO- YOU MADE MY WEDDING DAY STRESS FREE, BEAUTIFUL, AND FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!

i am part of a wedding that is supposed to be taking place in 2 weeks that was booked at this venue. appearantly they closed down with out notice to the bride or refunding any money already paid. the bride showed up this morning to pay her final payment and was met with a note on the door that said they had closed. she was there about a week and a half ago and everything was still on. $6k down the toilet and now we are all frantically searching for another venue in the area to accommodate 200 ppl with catering and table and linens on a super low budget at this point.

Went here for a wedding. The banquet area sucks. Its not very open. Theres pillars and walls that get in the way and obstruct views. I think there food is in house and was very bland. I do not recommend. There is a park right behind this place as well. Our have people walking by looking into the windows. And the elote man standing right there. Kinda awkward.
