I almost think its unfair to rate a funeral home online. They are a business that NOBODY wants to use. But, because death does not discriminate, most of us will eventually end up dealing with a mortuary. I found myself in this position three days ago and I could not be more pleased with how Ramsey handled everything. It seemed like a lot of paperwork, but funeral homes are required by law to have certain forms in place and signed, showing that the consumer knows what is required of them and what is not. My experience from initial contact was with Betty at the front desk. She was warm, welcoming and genuine. I also liked our funeral director as he was human -- not a pasty guy in an expensive suit. He was sympathetic to our loss, did not talk down to us or try to put anything over our heads. He is good at his job and I will recommend this funeral home to anyone I find in need of one.

Deceptive. Family was told lies saying they were legally obligated to pay for certain services that they were not obligated to pay. Quote was also double what the same services would cost in Yuba City. We paid for the services and then found out that we were not legally obligated to pay for the services they were selling. They only returned our money under duress and with rude comments. We overheard them saying "There goes our commissions!" I would look elsewhere for funeral services.

Used them for the first death in our family. As we were meeting to go over what to do with my dad, one of the employees walked by pushing a dead person on a stretcher with his head uncovered. So unprofessional. I did not want to see my dad dead let alone anyone else. The whole experience of my dad dying was awful. My husbands dad just died on Dec 28th and Sheer Memorial did an awesome job. I recommend them.
