Went with my mom on June 25 to put flowers on my dad and brothers graves. When she realized my youngest brother didnt have a vase I was going to purchase one. My credit card was run before the form was even filled out. When we asked if the bronze vase already there could be moved between my brothers we were told it could be done for no charge and cancelled the purchase of the new one. Gabe said it would be 10-14 days before my refund would be credited. A month later his excuse was hed torn up the slip and was waiting for me to call so he could mail a check. Now, on August 2, Mr. Segal is saying a check was ordered on July 13th and if it doesnt get to me soon let him know so they can cancel payment and credit my account. I have to believe Mr. Seagal, the sales manager, will make this right, but this was poor service.

The ground crew and managers are horrible. They removed everything at my fathers grave with no phone call or letter. My aunt happened to be going there that day and that is the only reason we found out. Through her investigating she found a lot of peoples loved ones personal items in the trash oh sorry a pile by the trash can as the office people said they did not throw the items away. To me that looks and sounds like they threw my dads stuff away. How can a company who deals with loved ones of people that have passed have so little compassion. If I could pick another cemetery, I would. Also I received what is expectable and what is not in the rules and regulation hand book and the only there was nothing in the manual that says no small flags( army and Seahawks flag) which were removed twice.

The staff at Purdy & Walters went far beyond what my family expected, or even hoped to receive, from a funeral provider. They guided us through every step and anticipate our questions before we had to bring them up. I cannot think of a better place to use when you suddenly find everything turned upside down. They made everything so much easier and took a lot of worry and concern away from our thoughts. Compassion and caring at one of the most stressful times, they answered my questions and I never once felt pressured into anything. They hosted a marvelous obituary on their website and I am truly grateful for all their help.

My parents purchased a pre-paid plan decades ago, so I wondered what our experience would be when we used it all these years later. Everyone was very helpful, but Jessica went over and above, working with us to see we had a lovely service for my mom. There was no pressure to upgrade from what was included in the plan. Ive been telling everyone I know that this is the place to go when the time arrives.

Heather and the staff were great to work with. This was my first time experiencing a loss of a close family member and their patience and assistance helped me get through the entire situation. Death is a sensitive thing to deal with and the staff do a great job of being understanding.
