We purchased a house with a roof in disrepair and needed to replace our entire roof. We got bids from a number of roofing companies with varying prices. We spoke to Gary from Allied Coastal Roofing and he came on time and gave us a reasonable quote. We could tell right away he was experienced and knew his stuff. We let Gary know that we needed his help to complete the roofing job ASAP due to the upcoming El Niño season. Gary said he was backed up with jobs but would try his best to get a crew together. That is exactly what he did. The following week Gary came with an entire crew and completed our roofing job in a weeks time passing all permits. We had a neighbor who had a smaller job where they hired another roofing company and it took 6 weeks to finish a small roof job because they only sent one person to do the job. Gary and Oscars roof work was impeccable to the details. We chose midnight black shingles and Gary even threw in extra wood for FREE to replace damaged termite wood. We did pay for a lot of the extra wood that needed to get replaced but Gary worked with us on the price so both sides were satisfied. Spray painted our brand new vents and pipes black to match our roof color. Overall Gary is honest and his workmenship was excellent. Prices fair.

Gary, Oscar, and the whole Allied Coastal crew were absolutely amazing. We got three bids and Allieds pricing was extremely competitive. On top of that, Gary was very communicative throughout the entire process and always available to answer questions by phone, email, or text. I never once felt like he was too busy working on other jobs or like I was anything but his most important customer. A contractor that cares so much about customer satisfaction is a rare and refreshing thing, especially when combined with the years of experience and high level of skill that Gary and his team bring to the table. Our job required more wood replacement than anyone expected and Gary did his best to keep the cost down. The web is filled with horror stories of contractors taking people for a ride or unexpectedly adding cost after cost to get the total bill as high as possible. You will not need to worry about anything like that with Allied. I wholeheartedly give them my highest recommendation. Our roof looks amazing and we can rest easy knowing that it was done properly and will last for many, many years. Thank you, Allied!
