worst customer service, the people there are not helpful. I had called to cancel my sons membership for daycare in early January and i was told I had till the 15th to use it for anyone else who was interested in the gym. I called around the 12th stating no one wanted to take over the membership if they could cancel it. the guy said no problem. a few weeks later I get billed for the annual fee and I brushed it off. this month I get billed the monthly membership fee so I called. the guy who answered couldnt find me in the system and placed me on hold a few times and had me on speaker. A lady then answers, how can I help you? I said I was talking to Andrew. oh yeah he handed it over to me. I said ok, and continued to tell her the situation. she couldnt find my file but after a few mins did. she said we dont have a cancellation form for you and I said I dont remember filling one out. she says its the only way they do cancellations. I said well you need to inform your staff about that cause I was never told that. she argues saying everyone knows that and should have been told as she basically said tough. I hung up pissed.

The most unprofessional staff and the worst customer service...they dont have a corporate office...I was told its a franchise...and the owner cant be reached...there is no way of reaching anyone to complain too, except those you want to complain about...I guess the owner of the gym doesnt care about how his business is being run since he doest want to here from his paying customers. He wont have a profitable business for very long, how stupid does he think people are? He doesnt care about the experience his customers are having, he just wants the money. Why would anyone continue to pay their hard earned money to a business that provides unprofessional service and doesnt care what you have to say about your treatment in their business. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY, you truly get want you pay for...and low fees here means you get nothing, except new equipment for now but that wont last.

Right when I first walked in the door of the Riverside Fitness 19, I was impressed with the well-maintained, high energy fitness center. I was introduced to Jeremy Yates who did a great job of showing the facility to me and listening to me in order to best see how my membership at Fitness 19 would help me to accomplish my fitness goals. Jeremy then took the time to help me find a membership that fit well within my budget. Jeremy then introduced me to an excellent, very knowledable personal trainer, Jon Stuart, who also listened intently and, as a result, understands and will help me to achieve my fitness goals. Once again, Jeremy helped me to find a very affordable plan so that my Fitness 19 experience will now include Jons assistance as my personal trainer. All things considered, I could not be happier with every aspect of my membership at Fitness 19!

Worst gym Ive ever been too. The staff was horrible and didnt care about helping me at any point after I finally told them I was cancelling my membership. They told me that if was cancelling it would take them over an hour before they would have time to cancell my membership. So after I waited an hour the manager told me it would be another hour. This went on till closing time and he then told me that he cant do it after they close because the system automatically shuts down. After asking three other fitness 19s if this was true they all said no he was lying to you. Finally cancelled it after a week and they still keep charging me months later and I have to keep filing fraudulant charges with my bank. great gym

Ive been a member since they opened and in that time I missed only one week of working out with them. My wife and I have had no problems and never had an issue that required me to engage the staff. At first it seemed the staff weren't cleaning the equipment in the first few months, but now I see them cleaning on a semi regular basis. Watching from a distance, I would say that the trainers seem to really know their techniques and training methods, but seem to be down with overall enthusiasm. I know we all have long days in our jobs, but seeing some of the trainers down on energy levels seems to short change the customer's overall workout session. Food for thought.

Very happy here. Al manages and runs a tight ship...place is always super clean and equipment in great order. Before I left for 3 weeks vacation there were 2 pieces of equipment that needed repairs..forgot to bring it to attention to staff but didnt have..returned and it was all repaired...Before Al there was a fellow Bryan who also was excellent...guess he got transferred...Loved to work out in a clean facility where staff care. And the price....who could beat! I pay $12 a month forever! Great TV audio equipment to make the time pass as well. Al is VERY customer oriented and an asset to the organization!

Shady as all heck. They charge a $120 annual fee without telling you. So I canceled my membership. They then charge you a $61 cancelation fee, plus an additonal month. Then today I get an email that I owe them another $116 because they couldnt charge my card. Good luck! If you do sign up, use a credit card that will let you block recurring payments without any issues. Update: A month later, I get a series of charges on my credit card totaling over $200.00. Charges start at $5.00, and work their way up. Thankfully, my credit card company is reversing the charges. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CRIMINALS!!!

Well it’s very easy to sign up but they make it very difficult to cancel your Membership…..and if you try to cancel your training sessions, forget it!! I cancelled and they still kept charging me!!! The manager has a rude attitude and doesn’t seem to care about its members…he doesn’t return phone calls/ messages. When I spoke to him about getting a credit for the charges made to my card after my cancellation he was very firm in denying me the credit! He doesn’t seem to understand that this kind of bad service and attitude will result in the gym losing members and will NOT get referrals!

Pros: its a new gym, clean, its not busy, dues are not at a high rate, great for a get in and get out work out...Cons: dont be late or they will charge your dues plus $25 for everytime they try to pull funds, managers are never available, they never answer the phone, customer service is horrible, and they dont care about you once you have signed up. I used to work for 24 hour fitness as a service manager ... Service is a priority and a personal experience. Fitness 19 has a lot of shoes to fill. I guess you get what you pay for.

The gym itself is great. Ive been a member since they opened and I love going in! The only problem I have had is with some of the kids room employees who are not as friendly or welcoming to the new faces. I previously gave this gym 3 stars because of this issue, but I received a call from the manager today and he discussed the issue with me and made me feel comfortable. With having 72 reviews and 4.5 star rating he didnt have to do that, so I appreciate the concern.
