I dont really like this gym. If you come to this gym beware of the sales people. They will try to sell you the personal trainer classes whatever way they can. They will try and sway you and wont take no for an answer....to the point where it just gets annoying. You will get pitched with these sales at least 3 times during your workout. Also as a person who fell for their trick...trust me it is NOT worth it!! They charge me $180 for 4 classes per month.... they say its only 4 but that the trainer is suppose to give you workouts for when you go in without him or her...but they dont....when I was being pitched the rep. Said he could get his manager to lover the price after I told him no cuz I have no money since Im a college student...he brought his manager over and the lady basically said she could add two bonus classes per week. Then she said sign here...I felt trapped so I signed knowing it was a bad idea since no where in the contract it said anything about the extra classes. Any way later on they refused even mentioning extra classes and when I tried to get out of it they wouldnt let me. Ive tried 3 dif. Times to get out of the contract and they dont let me...they give me vague answers and try to sway me into staying in the classes longer. Oh and just so you know they change their managers CONSTANTLY!!! Like once a month....I believe its because they get there...scam people and before those people could go and yell at them they leave...that way by the time you go in they have the whole "oh that person doesnt work here" excuse....the new manager will usually then lead with the whole "Im not like them" "Im sorry that happened to you" line...seriously DONT go to this gym...and if you do dont fall for their tricks...they will try to charm you and scam you!!!! Oh and they close and open rather early/late....

Go to any other LA fitness but this one. The location is very nice and well maintained. However, from the moment you walk in the sales people and managers all stare at you. Its just very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I wanted to use my free 7 day trial with my boyfriend and they sent us with a girl named Ally and when I tried to redeem she did the whole sales ploy on me, they say oh let me have all your information so we can know you better and well take a tour and then you can use your pass, and when we finished they didnt give us the pass they just kept trying to sell us then they found out I was 17 so my mom had to come in and sign a "waiver" for me to use the pass, so I take my mom in and they do the entire sales ploy AGAIN. And my mom falls for it and oddly enough they never asked her to sign this "waiver". I know that they wanted my mom to come in purely because they wanted to sell to her not for my safety. So my mom talked to friends who also have LA fitness memberships and she instantly felt scammed because all of them had way cheaper initiation fees and cheaper monthly prices. My mom tries to cancel my membership, like they said we could do at any time, and it was horrible. Instantly the sweet kind Ally that helped us turned into such a rude person. Her and her supervisor both refused to cancel my membership and refund her money. My mom had to go to corporate office of LA fitness and weeks later, she FINALLY got her money back. She eventually went to the San Bernardino LA fitness and got a lot better of a price, didnt feel pressured and was so much sweeter. Im so bummed that this is my nearest LA fitness so I have to drive out of the way if I want to feel comfortable when I work out but whatever its worth it not to be stared at and gossiped about by rude employees!

How sad that have the most rude staff on the planet at this gym. Take your hard earned dollars for gas, effort to get here--elsewhere. The pool is what attracted me to the gym. But thats from the website. So the real thing is a whole different story. The pool is 46" (no joke people) four lanes. And I went now, when, according to the receptionist who answered the phone, "least busy". The floor should be squeegeed. Its not. So much water at the pool guarantees a slip of some sort. The Recruiter, proceeded to pitch me a membership fee to my account. I asked, "why, if Im only here as a guest," this place is a joke. and no, as the vapid recruiter said to me, " your gym membership does not guarantee any service" ..so, again, why am I paying you people? Your money is spit here it would seem.

The gym is usually full i have trouble finding weights becuase people seem to hoard them and not return them where they belong. But one of my biggest issues with this gym is how hard the trainers try to get you to sign up for a class or session. I would get bugged in the middle of workouts by these trainers trying to sell their classes and it bothered me to no extent. Id get pitched a class Atleast 2-3 times everytime i went. They gym itself is pretty nice since its still pretty. The hours could also be better

The equipment is decent, the staff is non-chalant. Just the way it needs to be for people who are serious about training, and want to be left to themselves when they are working out. This LA Fitness is smaller than the one on Arlington, but it is good enough in terms of variety of equipment and weights, and availability of benches, squat racks, etc. The second floor cardio section is a good idea as it separates the weight room from the treadmills effectively.

Customer service is real bad. Really stuck up and unprofessional people. The trainers are a different story, they rock! I honestly feel sorry they have to be surround by the rude and fake sales representatives. Corporate as well needs to improve. Over all the trainers are the best part of this gym, theyre the only kind people there. Also the money isnt worth it since they try trapping you into overpaying. Never again! Services cancelled.

Great new gym, friendly staff and great machines. Wish I was in town more. If you want to be serious about working out, this is the place to go in the La Sierra area. Dont waste your time with the small Fitness 19 that place is a joke. I was a member there for a while and just never felt that it was the quality environment to get you motivated to work out to your full potential.

If I can give them 0 star, I will do it right away. The salesperson(Jonathan) was so rude...he was so content into his personal mobile phone and when I asked for a bit of thinking time, he said that he has another appointment. So I left...On my way out I heard him laughing with another male member. So disappointing...never go to LA FITNESS on magnolia Ave!!!

This is where I come to workout when Im in the area. Its a large, clean two story gym. In comparison, the sauna is smaller than my regular gym back home. The only suggestion I can make for this gym is to add additional squat racks. Also, itd be great for its visitors to rack their free weights in their designated areas. Member since 2013.
