Dirty gym, free weights never racked, they are all over the gym including outside the weight room near the machines. Mens locker room is always a mess, on weekends it looks like a pack of filthy monkeys got in there...all toilets filled with poop and pee not flushed. Toilet paper all over the floors, paper towels everywhere but the trashcan, in the sinks, toilets, ground, counters. Most of the time I am there the staff is just standing around not doing anything even though they could be re-racking weights or helping clean up. When machines break they stay broken for a long time. The people that go to this gym are let’s say, less than your model citizen, when 95% of the members have multiple tattoos on the arms, back, legs, neck, face, head....YES face and head, it’s not the nicest clientele. In fact if you hear English being spoken it’s rare. When the gym first opened it was nice, but has gone WAY downhill. I brought all this up to the young female manager who is always there; she had no answers, took no responsibility, and basically blew off my complaints. One of the WORST gyms Ive been too, and if I told Ive been to many over the years would be an understatement. THIS GYM SUCKS and the MANAGER IS WORTHLESS! LA Fitness please hire a manager that can manage and clean up this once nice gym, that is not even that old. Signed, A 25 year member (before LA Fitness was even LA Fitness)

This has to be the worst gym Ive been to. First of all they water down the soap in the womens bathroom so thats for starters. My next immediate impression was that the pool was very green. Not like a sci-fi movie green, but it was green. Next, its impossible to find weights here. Youll find one 25lbs dumbbell racked, and then you have to go searching for another one to pair it. Then if you need a bar youll have to search for that as well, for some reason finding it in the studio. If thats not annoying enough youll see people just sitting and taking up a machine/bench/ squat rack while theyre on their phone. Worst of all their machines are either broken or EXTREMELY old. Ive been an LA Fitness member for 6 years, and they have machines I remember starting out with. That wouldnt be too bad if they werent broken! But you see broken pins, seats, handles everywhere. I gave this gym 3 weeks, because I kept think that MAYBE somehow, someway theyll improve, but then I got a slight cut on my finger. Nothing serious but it did need a bandaid, so I went up to the front desk and it took the kid 2-3minutes to find the first aid kit and then had to shuffle for another 2-3 minutes to find a freaking bandaid. This is the closest LA Fitness to me but I dont mind driving an extra 15-20 minutes to the next one over. JFC, upgrade this damn gym.

Just a word of advice for people who are offered "deals" by the salespeople there: make sure you get the "deal" IN WRITING, specifying that it supersedes the Agreement (which you will sign when you obtain the membership). I was offered to have my initiation fee revoked if I end up cancelling my membership before the 15th of the following month. Upon budgeting my expenses, I decided that it was financially irresponsible for me to add on a gym membership. So I went on the 12th to cancel my membership, but the person I talked to said that I only had 5 days AFTER the signing the Agreement to cancel the membership as was stated in the written contract. Therefore, I still needed to pay the initiation fee. A signed written agreement definitely has more power than a spoken agreement so BE CAREFUL of "deals" that have no backbone. This is a business after all.

Takes them forever to fix machines. The treadmills suck. Most of the equipment they have is out dated. Restrooms are dirty and usually out of soap and tp. I asked about certain machines and equipment that have been broken for over a month, when they planned on fixing them they told me to call corporate. I shouldnt have to call anyone. Thats why they have managers and personnel there right?. Oh and see what happens if you dont pay your membership fee. Its all about the $ for them. This gym is a joke. I wish I can give them zero stars. I was there at least 5 days a week! So you can trust what I say and my rating. I only stayed because I live less than a mile away. I already cancelled my membership and went to 24hr fitness. much much better. The daycare hours are longer and the machines and equipment are good. I Should have switched months ago.

I feel like one star is still too good. Seriously LA Fitness is one horrible gym. Ive been in many different gyms and this one by far is the WORST gym Ive been too. The salesmen are only interested in taking your money, the people at the front desk dont even greet you, there are no 35 pound weights, there is no steam room. On top of that these salesmen which I prefer to call liars promise you that if you cancel your membership you are guaranteed two months of gym access which is a big lie and in the end you throw away 70 dollars (you have to pay the first and next month up front) and you can only go for the rest of the month. Save yourself some money and some time and do not even bother going here. 19 Fitness is much cheaper and for 5 bucks more than what you pay here you can get a much better experience at 24 Hour Fitness.

I go to this gym because is close to my house, but when i forst decided to join, i wanted to try it out, but they wanted to force me to get my memebership, even though i clearly told them i wanted to try it out before joining, but they didnt want to and barely even let me in, after that, i received a call every single day even at work hours, where they would assign me a schedule to go join the gym, but i wasnt ready until i wanted to be ready, anyways, when i finally decided to go pay, they gave me a super deal sipposebly, that only ended up being the same thing, lied to me about many things intiation fees and retarded explanations about bullshit, all i wanted was to join the gym, but they made it a horrible expereience, thirsty for money and very disrespectful with lies and peer pressure

First off I want to say that Matthew Rock has great customer service except for the fact that not only did he push me to buy personal training but herbal life too. He seriously thought our whole hour non- stop talked about it, which I think its super unprofessional. Then, "his manager" came up and was super rude about my inability to purchase personal training. On the other hand, the "manager" of membership sales is super rude svc if you dont buy anything he treats you like your wasting his time. Over all super poor customer service. I get that they are all just trying to make a living but you absolutely dont achieve that by being a jerk to your customers. I previously had a membership with 24hr fitness and will default be going back.
