I drive from across town to go to Crunch gym with a few different family members and friends of mine because it is by where I used to live. Today I was doing my crunches by the mirror where the free weights are and a LARGE COCKROACH crawled by my face. It truthfully threw me off because I realized I had been doing exercises on the ground (for who knows how long) with bugs right by head. I started looking around and saw dust all over the corners and I just didnt even want to finish my exercises. They have a cleaning guy there, but hes too busy ogling the females at the gym- he even asked my mom her name and followed her to the machine she moved to. I dont think he should even try to clean machines that people are USING AT THE TIME, because its distracting and creepy to be honest. When I mentioned the cockroach to the staff member at the front he rolled his eyes and laughed with his staff member and said something like "Ohh dont worry, Ill chase out alll the bugs for you" very sarcastically and patronizing. I just felt he didnt take me serious at all because he didnt apologize, or explain that these werent Crunch Gyms standards, or even tell me in a serious way that he would do ANYTHING to make sure that there wasnt any more cockroaches around. He just laughed like Im silly to be scared of one little bug- but its disgusting. Its just unsanitary. I can do crunches and stretches at home where there ARE no cockroaches or creepy dudes following us around. The people at the door are usually very rude too, they have ZERO people skills besides the ONE nice friendly and helpful guy that originally convinced us to sign up. One time a staff member left me waiting in the tanning salon for 10 minutes because they forgot to turn it on. The staff is generally negligent, rude and obviously lacking in people skills- let alone customer service skills. Im already searching for a new gym- because THIS PLACE HAS TOO MANY NEGATIVE QUALITIES.

Most of the staff are excellent. A new gym equipment technician appears to be very rude (not excellent). While I was in the gym yesterday the new technician was using inappropriate language describing other staff members working at the Hole St. gym in Riverside CA. The new technicians language involved using the f***ing this person and f***ing that person while talking about other staff members. I do no appreciate people that put other people down. Keep your opinions of others to yourself. If you do not have anything nice to say about others, please do not let customers hear your unprofessional opinions of other staff members. The new technician left his tools laying around on the floor when not working on the equipment. I almost tipped over his tools and the equipment parts laying all around the floor. The new technician is careless of others. Be careful around the new technician.

Becareful when you sign up to this gym. My mom and I decided to sign up with this gym thinking it was the best option for us since its near our house and its not too expensive, or so I thought. After 3 months of being there they charged my bank account $39 without me knowing, once I called and asked what was going on I was told that besides the $20 dollars I pay every month there is a $39 annual fee which I wasnt aware of because the guy who helped us sign up did NOT explain this to us. He was going over every part of the contract yet he decided to skip that part. Now I owe my bank money, this wouldnt have been such a problem for me if they had told me about the annual fee. So they got their $39 from us and 2 days later i have to pay the $20? Where the hell am I supposed get this money from? Ive decided to cancel my membership with this gym.

I joined Crunch in June of last year 2016. My goal was to lose all the baby weight. Which I had gained 20 pounds extra and I wanted to get back in shape!!! I knew it was going to be hard since I didnt really work out before so, I needed to be comitted. I want to give thanks to my instructor "Jenna Awad " !!!! For helping me reach my goals. I look and feel great again!!! I recommended her to everyone whom is trying to lose weight / tone up / build muscles in the feminine areas. You will always have fun in her Zumba & Z. Burst/Belly/Butt/Thighs Class, Jenna is always positive and friendly. She knew my goals and never gave up on me. Thank you again for being a Great Intructor and also a Great Friend. Erica Loza

If I could leave ZERO STARS I would... BEWARE WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS. This gym screwed me over. First set me up with a trainer who had an "open" schedule, once they had my money, that trainer wanted me to change my schedule to fit his... Not happening. They also DID NOT GIVE ME A COPY OF THE CONTRACT so I did not know what I was able to cancel in writing within 5 days,or else I would have done so. This company is so crooked and screws people over. I am now in a dispute with my bank over these charges. Stay away, go to a real gym, this place is a joke! Stephaon does not call anyone back,if he did I probably would not have all this headache I do now. Thank you for not helping....!!!!

This gym is HORRIBLE!!! It is way too packed and it seems like they only cater to those who want to lose weight using cardio. What about a good selection of free weights and machines to strengthen and tone your muscles??? If you want to use classes GOOD LUCK..WAY OVER PACKED! There is no room to move and also, this gym DOESNT have a kids area. WOMEN BEWARE ALSO.... When I pulled into the parking lot my first time I had to drive around back to find parking and it was pitch dark with no lights!!! Not to mention all of the homeless people outside asking for money. One was even sleeping by my car. I DID NOT feel safe at all. Thanks anyways but not for me.

To clear things up, classes are being held everyday and the reason why its "packed" and "crowded" is because the store next door hasnt closed down yet....once they do crunch will expand and use that space for classes. Also, more weights and machines will be added. I go there and Ive asked and as for the parking lot being dark, I heard they were going to fix that by adding more lights obviously. Overall, great gym for the price. Everything you need to get/stay in shape!

I hate crunch gym it smells like straight booty in there, all the instructors are mean rude and dont know anything. All the equipment sucks not up to date really old. To crowded and small. I would not recommend this gym to nobody. Pleases stay away from this gym. My girlfriend told me one day an employee was hitting on her and was being a pervert. Just stay away from this wack gym that should be closed down for good.

The equipment is always Broken the treadmills theres at least 10 of them that dont work or they shut off when your in the middle of your workout another thing is they dont clean the machines properly The staff are nice and friendly and the people that go to the gym are very friendly to but equipment is old and needs to be replaced thinking about going to 24-hour fitness if things dont change.
