My "Review" is in response to the lie that was posted as a review by Jeff Waller. I was there. Jeffs son was running around the gym, unattended, and was running under people who were bouldering and could have gotten hurt if it wasnt for Adrians vigilance for safety. He was very polite and explained to the child that what he was doing was dangerous. He even explained, in length to Jeff why he had stopped his son and told him not to run around the gym, particularly under climbers. I know Adrian well and have observed the way he treats people. He is a professional. What was described in Jeffs review is complete fabrication by a Daddy who is too week to acknowledge that his child was behaving inappropriately and tries to make himself feel better by slandering someone doing their job...and he really ought to be thanking him for keeping his child safe. I have also known Jeff Waller for a long time and this doesnt surprise me. Jeff, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Im ashamed for you.

The gym is well set and managed by Dave Hamilton. Dave is a true asset to this business. You really cant go wrong with their membership deals because there are 5 gyms for one price. This makes it very convenient to climb anywhere in the LA basin I do wish they stayed open a little longer on the weekends. All in all a good gym.

Good fitness classes/ facility round out the most comprehensive climbing gym of the chain. Theres enough floor space to handle evening crowds and the upstairs Hangar 18 Fitness facility has some awesome classes if you splurge for the added membership. Setting is what I expect of all Hangar 18 locations in the Inland Empire.

10th Planet River side has best instruction of any BJJ school I have ever been to. Learning under one of the only Eddie Bravo black belts is an experience. If you ever wanted to learn the famous ‘rubber guard system” this is the place to be. And at 90 bucks a month its way cheaper then most of the schools the area.

It doesnt pretend to be anything that its not. Theres top roping, sport, and bouldering to keep you occupied. Theres a weight room, and they have strength training classes as well as yoga classes there on certain days. The staff is friendly and the regulars are cool. All of this for under $40.

This gym is perfect. They have auto-belay and classes for beginners. They have variety and you can also do their bouldering. If you dont have shoes, they can loan you some and if you dont have a membership, you can get a one day pass. Some days they allow two people for the price of one.

We did a birthday party here and I was underwhelmed. The party area was covered in dust and dead insects were visible in the corners and near the windows. For the party it only would get 2 stars. But for the climbing portion i would easily give 4 stars. I compromised and gave 3 here.

The routes are great. Good prices (although they do nickel-and-dime you a little bit). The facility is great and they even have a full weight gym upstairs. No air con.

Great people collect here. Good variety of climbing from beginner to advanced. You can boulder, top rope or lead climb. Even a Crack or 2 to practice with.

Hangar 18 is a fun place to climb, but can get crowded at times. Compared to other climbing gyms though, the membership is a great value.

Fairly nice gym, The routes had a good amount of variety to them. They offered Yoga, and a few other classes as well.
