The ONLY reason I workout here is proximity to work. Bathrooms reek all the time, equipment isnt serviced (missing/loose pieces), half the treadmills are powered off or whining. Place sucks. UPDATE: Downgrading to 1 star. Went in to workout and was advised my account had been suspended for some reason without my knowledge. I said well thats OK because its 100 degrees in here anyways and I dont want to work out unless you guys start climate controlling the place. Guy says prob not gonna happen so go ahead and cancel your membership if you want to. Hahahaha really?! U dont even attempt to retain me? So I say wait a minute so I am good I can just walk out no penalties? He says, yup... See you later. So I peace out and join 24 hr up the street. So bad.

This place is awesome! Some people think its intimidating but once you go, youll quickly learn its not at all. The owners are very kind and make you feel welcomed. Also the people there are cool too. It is a place you can get motivated to push yourself beyond what you thought. You get to see some amazing, dedicated people who put in the work and it shows. Youll really start to understand why consistency is important and you wont want to give up. This is my kind of gym! Thanks Todd and Jon for having a gym that provides real motivation!

I got to visit this gym this past weekend. It has a good sized weight room and an awesome upstairs fight training area with tons of weight bags, a combat rope and padded floors. The gym staff amd owner Gabe are all stand up guys as well. I would definitely stop here for a training session next time Im in the area. While youre there, check out the attached supplement shop called Empire supps. John is the owner there and from what I saw, he was cutting some pretty good deals.

Have been a member for 7 years. The cardio equipment is old and need of repair. The 8 tread Machines out of 11 do not work. They will not use the a/c. Saying it is too expensive. The stair master. 1 out of 2 has been not working for 6 months. The reply is this gym is for body builders. Why do they provide aerobic equipment that does not work? By the way I have seen a black jacket in the isle for a week. This is not a very clean gym. This is why I give 1 star

World Gym Vista is a great gym with fantastic staff and ownership. The equipment is maintained in great working order, and there is a complete variety so you can thoroughly work every muscle group. They also have a host of very qualified trainers that can help you out. They recently were gracious enough to allow my company to conduct a photo shoot. One of the newest members said it best! When I asked him why he chose World Gym Vista after having tried out all the other gyms in the area, he said "This is the kind of gym Rocky would workout in!". Despite being a "Hardcore" gym, a wide range of age groups workout here. There exists a sense of comradery, where everyone is like family, and regardless of your goal, you are treated with respect. If you are serious about fitness, this is the gym for you!

Five star rating is definitely in order! This gym has so much equipment that I just couldnt get in a commercial gym (such as the donkey calf raise machine) that the extra traveling time is no sweat. Also great if you are into plyometrics, crossfit, cycling, MMA, etc as it has all necessary equipment too! Its friendly staff makes it all the more welcoming & a must do if youre in North County!!!

Great environment, the old school feel is welcoming plus the people who go are there to lift and better themselves. If you want a gym where you take selfies and leave then go to planet fitness. But if you want an environment where the people are committed to their goals and people have legitimate experience then this place is for you.

Great gym with great staff. Gets a little hot in the summer. But Id you are looking to sweat that helps i guess. They offer personal training. Boxing classes upstairs and a nutrition store attached to the building as well. Recommend for motivated people. This isnt crunch or planet fitness.. come to work out!

I had went there a while back and the owner was very rude and often cursed. If you want people to consider being a member, you should speak to them with more respect and in a professional manner. The gym is a good lifers gym dont get me wrong but a little manners go a long way.

Signed up, worked out for 20 minutes and realized I made a mistake. Bathrooms are filthy and machines are dirty. Went to cancel my membership and John Bixby started trash talking. Very unprofessional. Do not waste your time like I did.

I was in the area for a week. I was looking for a gym that was open on Sundays and allowed Powerlifting. World Gym was excellent. Plenty of quality equipment. Friendly and courteous staff. Helpful clientele.
