This business opened an unmarked locked door inside my business for a tenant without asking me (the owner), without establishing with me or the other tenants in the building who the person was and whether or not they had the right to be in the locked room. My phone number is on my building in three separate locations. I did not receive a single phone call from Popalock. When I called to ask how did they establish that this person had permission to enter a locked room, Art said, "I looked at her drivers license". As far as I know it does not say on her drivers license that she works at my business. From speaking with reputable locksmiths, I learned this is not usual business-although it is legal. Reputable locksmiths have a much more thorough interview with the client to establish right of entry, usually including seeing some paperwork connecting them to the business, a business or other licenses, including drivers license. Arts wife called me also, she said she understands my concerns but offered no apology or solutions going forward. I informed her of reputable locksmiths code of ethics and still no apology. She said they fulfilled the legal requirements. I asked her how do you know which room to open up? Is my locked room safe from entry? She had no solution. My tenant gave me a copy of the receipt, but it has a different address on it. Popalock said they did open the door here. The Security code states they have to record and retain for two years the name, address, date of birth, telephone number, and drivers license or id on the work order. The copy of the work order I received only had name, ID, wrong address, no phone number, no DOB. Very sloppy work. A very unsatisfying experience. I wanted to give zero stars, but one star is the only option.

If I could give them zero stars I would! My insurance company contacted this company to unlock my vehicle and told me they would be there in about 30 minutes. They never showed up & never called. I called the insurance company after an hour. They were having computer problems so it took quite a while for my insurance company to get a hold of the company to schedule a new lock out service and because the computers were down they didnt know they were calling the same company. I waited about 10 minutes and called the company and they were able to get a hold of the person doing the call and they said they were at the vehicle and couldnt unlock the vehicle. I let the dispatcher know that NO they were not at the vehicle and they had never been to the vehicle. They may have very good people working for them but obviously this person didnt want to do their job this evening but still wanted to get paid! I called and complained to my insurance companies supervisor and they will be contacting this company tomorrow (hopefully anyway!) We ended up waiting a total of 4 hours for a simple lockout all because this person didnt want to do their job (and still get paid)! I will be following up with this company tomorrow and also my insurance company to make sure that doesnt happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW....... Never in my life, have I had to deal w someone with such lil knowledge in the field they were supposed to be expert in. I waited half hour after arrival for him to tell me not possible to open my car. I went to my neighbors house borrowed his slim Jim (cause he owns auto parts store). I literally had to teach the guy how to open it. His response "well thats not in the manual". After charging my card for not touching my car mind you, I called the office to ask why I was charged when I showed him how to get in my car he didnt touch it because the battery was dead. The "BOSS" told me they do nothing for free. "Wow"... I replied "your right you do just that. nothing but its definitely not free. Please if you need someone reliable and your in a hurry to get where your going disregard this shady mom and pop a lock business. Uneducated and disrespectful is not the way you conduct business. Shame on you! I hope you get to read this review BOSS thanks for the disrespect and the service fee for absolutely nothing.

Horrible service, I gave them a call on Saturday since Ive seen that they have great reviews from lots of costumers think that my experience with them was gonna be the same but it wasnt. My husband had lost the keys and we didnt have a spear I gave them a call thinking that they were gonna help me with my troubles well they did took my information and told me they would give me a call back with an estimate in a couple mins, i had to call them back cause 45 mins passed by and didnt hear from them, they told me the same think that someone would call me back with and estimate i had to called them back 2 more times and they werent able to give me an estimate or at least to let me know that they couldnt help me because they were busy or something. I then decided to call another company that they were able to help me with no problem what so ever... Would never call pop a lock ever again, i dont know how they have such good reviews

Its rare anymore to receive great service. Most businesses have lost that goal to please the customer. Today I locked my keys in my truck while helping a friend move. I was over heated, angry with what I did, and tired. The locksmith Tom that came out to unlock my truck, was not only very prompt, arrived earlier than he told me, provided me and my family with service rarely seen today. I felt as if I truly mattered, my business was important to him, that we mattered. With so many choices out there on what place to give your business to, it tough to not be disasppointed in choosing the wrong place. Please give Pop A Lock your business when your in need of a locksmith, with prompt response, and friendly locksmiths you wont be disappointed. Thanks again Tom for getting there so quickly, a having me back on the road so fast on such a hot day, your AWESOME

Its unfortunate to see the 1 star ratings when I had by far the quickest easiest and most pleasant experience with this company . I called 8am not being urgent but needing a key change on my house that same day none later . The lovely lady on the phone gave me a time frame between 10-10:30am that day which was awesome . Making things even greater the gentleman not only called before coming to the door but he arrived right at 10am . His name was Sam , extremely helpful while being quick . He not only changed the keys but he updated my top locks that were badly aged and worn out . I didnt mind if the top lock colors didnt match the doornobs but he made it happen so everything matches! (: I will never go anywhere else ; pop a lock beats dons lock and key any day!

I lost my only key to my Honda Crosstour. I Just had Sam from Pop-A-Lock come down with a replacement key. When I spoke to him over the phone I found out that he didnt have my key in stock. He said he would call around and get back with me. He responded a few minutes later after locating one. I had another locksmith out yesterday who made a key (without a fob), spent an hour and a half here, and couldnt get it to work right. Sam showed up and had the new key with fob ready. He programmed the key he brought and reprogrammed the key that the other guy made and had both of them working within 5 minutes! He showed up in the time frame he said he would, was fast and professional, and got the job done right! I highly recommend them!
