PLEASE READ WHY I GAVE ONLY 3 STARS! We had our 9 x 12 Karastan carpet scheduled to be cleaned. I had previously (the week before) been quoted the price from Patty. When the men arrived to pick up the rug, they did not believe the price I had been quoted, so had to call Patty. At that time she denied having given me the quote! I was in dis-belief because I know what she had said, also had it written down. I was really annoyed and angry and told the men I was cancelling. However, the men were very understanding and they worked up an agreeable price, despite it being $29 higher than Patty had quoted! I got the rug back last week, looks nice, and I know the men worked hard on the fringe. Earlier, on the same day, we had Phil clean our carpets. He was great, did a very nice job, quoted us a price, and honored that price! I liked him a lot and would definitely want him back in the future. It is just too bad that Coit ruined their reputation with me when they quote a price, then do not honor it. The ONLY reason I have not given a high rating with the stars, is because of that, not because of any dis-satisfaction with the actual cleaning, or with the courtesy the men showed, while here. They were all very polite and pleasant.

Our ivory sofa is still dirty. The tassels on of the back cushions are hardened from the treatment and still look dingy. They could not get all the stains out. Area rug was to have been returned on Monday; they called us at a little after 8 a.m. that day to ask if someone would be home between 10 a.m. and noon. We told them that two hours notice was not reasonable. Rescheduled to yesterday at 5. Unknown to us, Vang called the house yesterday morning around 8:20 am. to "confirm" a 10 a.m. to noon window that day (we did not have a 10 a.m. appointment; we had a 5 p.m. appointment scheduled). Not hearing from us, he showed up anyway and left a note and voice mail message saying he would wait for 20 minutes and then leave. We were not aware of the messages when we called him after 5 (having left work early and gotten home at 4:30 to meet him), Vang did not disclose that he had been here earlier. He instead told us that he forgot to load the rug in his vehicle that morning. We rescheduled the appointment to 5 p.m. this coming Monday. We also called the main line to let them know what was going on.

We scheduled our appointment with COIT on Monday and they were suppose to come to our house on Friday to clean our carpets. They confirmed on Thursday and I told the rep to please call my husband with any questions because he was the one who was going to be home that day (I gave them his number). Friday they never showed up and when I called they said they called me (I was in the mountains with no cell reception, which is why I gave them my husbands number!) and couldnt reach me, so they canceled our appointment. I called back and a different rep said they DID have his number and would call my husband. They never did. Saturday my husband called them to ask them to PLEASE come today, which they did, but the price range they quoted us on the phone was HALF of what they quoted us on site (we have a fairly small house). The carpet cleaner refused to give us a discount, despite all the troubles we had so we had to only have half of our house cleaned. Very disappointed!!

I was very disappointed in the visit. The cleaning engine did not seem to be working correctly. The technician was very inexperienced, and did not clean the carpets well. He did not prespray spots, and only went over them once. He said the spots would not come out. I asked him to go over some a few times, and then they came out. I got tired of directing him, and stopped telling him what to do. The carpets were still dirty and wet. After he left, I got my own carpet cleaner out and did them myself. When I finished, they were clean and almost completely dry. The truck was very noisy and two of my neighbors told me they did not think it was working well. Given the amount of water left in the carpet, I ageee.i have used coit for about 40 years. Most of the time it is good. This is one of the few times that it was a waste of money. Can I get a refund?

I had a terrible experience. I was supposed to get 40% off. Only about half of the bill was 40% off. The part of the bill for "grout stripping services" – about $300 – was not discounted. And I was assured the grout would not come clean unless I ordered this service on top of the ordinary tile service. In fact, nothing came clean. The mineral deposits on my charcoal title in my bathroom did not come clean. Some of the grout in my gray bedroom tile came clean. About 25% did not. I asked them to come out and look at it. They agreed that it was not clean. They said someone would contact me to reclean or refund part of my $650 bill. I never heard from Coit again. The entire job took about one hour. For $650. Just a quick steam clean. As it turns out many other companies will steam clean your tile for a lot less. I would recommend anyone but Coit.

When I initally set the appointment I did not explain that as seniors some pieces of furniture would need to me moved. When the technician arrived I was told that it would take a two man job and he reschedule the job. Needless to say I had already moved small items for the cleaning and had to put everything back. The reschedule appointment went well and the technician was very friendly and helpful. It did not take two men to do the job. We have used COIT in the past for carpet and tile cleaning and have been very happy with their service. We chose to use them again for carpet cleaning and was pleased with the results .However, the company could use more training with their technicians and customer service..

Full House Carpet Cleaning : Dickson called to update me as to when he would arrive. Upon arrival he was very professional and got right to the job. He asked a few questions about pets and special areas that may need attention. He impressed me with his work ethic. Took special care in areas that I requested and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with the overall job, just wish that darn red wine stain could have come out and I realize that this is not your issue. it is a permanent stain! I had the area rugs done as well, which needed to be picked up and delivered in an approximate 7 day timeframe and they look awesome! I am so glad I called Coit and allowed them to WOW me!

Very nice and professional young man, and it "feels" cleaner. But I will have to say I am a little disappointed on a few points relative to the fairly high price, even with a coupon/discount: 1. There seems to be a slightly sour odor reminiscent of clothes left wet in the dryer before being completely dry (I would have hoped a solution with some pleasant fragrance would have been used); 2. Although I understood some stains might be difficult to remove, I fail to see than ANY stains were removed; 3. I suspect the prices are higher primarily because of marketing and not because the service or chemicals are superior.
