The perfect neighborhood gym. Its not a social club and its nothing fancy. Its exactly what you need to get pumped. Has decent machines, free weights, and cool vibe full of regulars. They offer free bootcamp classes, abs class, zumba, yoga, boxing, TRX, etc. Cant go wrong with a month to month membership here! If you dont like it then simply cancel your month to month contract. No hassles. No upsells either. I got a personal trainer here named Anthony Parr and hes great. He says, "if you wana wear the big shirt then its gotta hurt." Hes helping me get to the next level in my fitness goals. Another comment, there is no AC in the warehouse. Its a WAREHOUSE style gym with three roll up doors. This brings in the natural breeze. It gets hot in August but the rest of the year its ok. I like it when its hot cause it makes me sweat more. :) Oh yeah!

Ive been working out a Boulevard Fitness for over a year now, and it is by far my favorite gym in San Diego! Old school vibe, has enough equipment to support the "professional" workout crowd, and management is super friendly and knows most member by name! I will also add that this gym is "unassuming" from the road. This was brought to my attention when I recently invited my buddy to come in and try out a free pass for a couple days!

Like this place, no contract, great price, WC always clean, never crowded, machines always available, nice staff, etc. yes there is no AC but there is great ventilation with huge garage doors and you wont need AC. I have never understand people who complains for little things and give bad reviews, but they still want to pay a dollar and have everything as they were paying thousands. Common! Summer is for a few days!

Pros: Affordable, local/neighborhood, simple. Cons: 1) Despite so many fans - some of them just sitting around and broken - it is deathly hot. Ive been a member for 7 months and go at least once per week. Understandable that some people like the heat to sweat more but not me. 2) At any given time there are at least two broken machines. One machine has been broken for months.

Free towel service w/membership! Big open gym with lots of free weights, squat racks, and bench presses. Outdoor area for crossfit type activities, and classes (yoga, Zumba, Abs, bootcamp) also included with membership. Personal training available on request but they dont try to shove it down your throat. I could not be happier!! Great neighborhood gym.

This isnt your local YMCA. This is a get it done place to grind out a workout. They have plenty of squat racks, machines, free weights, and cardio machines. Peak hours seem to be 5-7pm or so but otherwise Im never fighting to use anything. The folks who staff the place are super friendly and good people as well :)

New member but coming from 24 hour fitness this place rocks. More personable and responsible people that work their and its a local business that I want to support. Better equipment, less crowds and cheaper too. They have a good Veteran/Student/Military pricing and I am very happy about the change.

Positive, Very cheap and there is no contract commitment. It is never crowded, so no wait for machines. Negative, No A/C. The building is old. Restrooms are seldom cleaned. There is a consistent 35% of machines out of service. The staff lacks basic costumer service skills. Some are quite rude.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The location and hours are highly convenient. The membership could be reminded to please not sit on equipment, texting each other, or leaving their towels on equipment for extended period of time to "reserve" it.

Boulevard Fitness is filled with friendly staff and a clean gym. The equipment is always ready to use with no waiting time, there are a variety of classes you can take and it all comes at a great price. I highly recommend becoming a member of this gym.

Iron paradise for old school lifters. Lucky to be able to workout not during peak hours so Im quite happy here. Wish they had another platform/bumper plates and more matching iron plates but for the cost, its a great place for me.

Love this gym! I enjoy the convenience and the no hassle. I just get in and get my workout done. The new management is great! Shawn, the general manager, always greets me with a smile & great conversation!

Great price, good gym, bigger than it looks from the outside, friendly staff, cool people... Only negative is several of the heavy bags are old and in bad shape. Minor gripe though.

This place is horrible!!!! They are very unprofessional and wasnt care much no matter what you need . I have to cancel my membership just after 2 months and even overcharged me.

Not the shiniest equipment but its hardly ever crowded and they have everything you need for a full body workout. Wish the AC was stronger on hotter days.
