Denied access to remove items when no money was due. Claimed there was video evidence of me trying to cut off my own storage unit lock, when there are no cameras and that never happened. Did later find someone did indeed try to get into my storage unit when I had used another lock but the one they gave me and didnt have access to. Put extra locks on my unit before any payment was due and then claimed I owed $400 to get my stuff out with no previous amount due and a statement of intent to leave well before it was due. They kept my stuff, tried to break into my unit, when they couldnt they put a lock on it and held it hostage for extra money or if they couldnt then theyd take it to auction. These people are crooks using whatever means they can to steal peoples stuff and money. I was at this facility for a total of 3 months before this happened and suspected they were getting into my unit from the start when my items started turning up missing.

I worked here for a month. I was fired because I wouldnt accept to work 2 more extra days a week, although my manager Steve knew I was working already part-time at another storage unit, and i was hired with my manager Steve acknowledge that I had a preexisting lumbar spine injury, which prevented me from working a full-time schedule. I helped Steve find a full-time worker, and as soon as I did that, he tried to force me into working extra days, and he knew I couldnt do that, so he fired me. Im currently working at another storage facility, and people let me tell you that American Storage storing service is over priced!

I have had storage spaces at American for years. I have found them to be helpful and thoughtful . They keep the whole place clean and that matters.!! I miss the turtle farm. Sometimes my check does not arrive on time and folks get ruffled, but it remains a great safe place to store your gear

Cheap alternative to store your stuff in SF but little but out of the way. The setup is tight so bigger cars may have issues accessing units. The pavement is uneven so it ponds at places when it rains so it can be inconvenient accessing the unit when it rains or after a storm.

Its tall fence and security gate is impressive. About 15 to 20 ft tall and passcode system is outrageously crazy to figure out let alone remember. Inside is slightly dim lit or fluorescent that are in need of repair in a couple areas.

Great outdoor storage units. You can access them 24 hours a day too. Pretty decent prices for the Bay area.
