After yet another Jettastrophe, these guys really came through for me. My little 2000 Vr6 has just about reached the 200k marker and Im just too stubborn (or lazy) to let it go. It had a meltdown a couple blocks away from these guys and I found myself basically stranded. Lucky for me, this place showed up as the closest European shop. I walked over to see if they could accommodate me, as it was already late afternoon, and they said I could bring it in even though they were busy and wouldnt be able to work on it that day. (I have another mechanic that wont let me bring my car in without an appointment.) They even offered to tow it. Since Im cheap, I said I would try to drive it in, even though their tow fee was pretty minimal. Lucky again for me, I was able to get it there without too much of a problem. Even though it was so late, they still managed to make a diagnosis of the problem and give me an estimate that evening. Unfortunately, it was a pretty grim one. Since my car is ancient and has been having a few problems lately, I was thinking it might be time to junk the poor thing. Ron was very fair and dealt with my hesitancy. He was honest about the pros and cons about fixing vs. junking. His inspection fee was the lowest Ive ever experienced, so I wouldnt have lost much in that respect had I not opted to repair the car. In the end, I felt so bad about junking my Jetta, that I had them do a full inspection to find every little problem and give me another estimate; maybe get the car in decent shape and drive it for another year or so. There were a couple other pricey issues and adding everything up, it seemed pretty unmanageable for me. I really didnt want to deal with the junkers and I dont have enough money for a new car, so desperately, I made a pretty low-ball offer for the total set of repairs. Thankfully it was accepted. Later, when I picked up my car, which is now purring like a baby kitten and running beautifully, I realized I totally robbed these guys. I am so sorry! They put in a lot of work, and I ended up getting quite a bit of freebies. I am so grateful, though. I have had the most horrible mechanic problems in the past. I was robbed left and right-paid for a lot of made-up issues, I am sure. Also, I was treated like a total moron during the initial warranty/service period by the dealership, and this left my poor car with a lot of untended issues from the get-go. The dudes at Auto Europa are awesome. They are respectful, honest, and dont treat me like I have sub-standard intelligence because I am female. Im sure I was fairly annoying to deal with when I couldnt make up my mind about authorizing the repairs. So thank you, Auto Europa. Even though I live in Oakland, I will cross the bridge to you for services and planned repairs.

My 2007 Mini Cooper S engine failed last November 2009. I had an extended warranty, Zurich, that I bought through BMW Concord. The dealership said that they would not cover the engine replacement. They quoted that I was looking at $10,000 - $15,000 out of my pocket to get it repaired, or trade-in my car for $5,000. I bought the car brand new and bought all their service maintenance plan, etc. You can just imagine how stressful I was in the predicament I find myself in. As a loyal customer, the dealership did me a great disservice, and they offered no help at all. Then, I found Auto Europa! The shop, the mechanics, and Ron (Owner) became my salvation. They did excellent work on my car! They were very professional and very skilled. The equipments they use in the shop is advance and topnotch. They did the engine replacement for my car and the works that goes with it. Ron contacted the extended warranty company, Zurich, for me; the warranty company covered almost all the expenses (BMW said they wouldnt but they did). Ron helped me with all the paper works and such. I only paid $1,500 out of my pocket. I got my car back in excellent condition (like it was brand-new again) on December 30, 2009. Ron also showed me how I should properly maintain my car, what to keep an eye on, and explained to me how things work in the car. I can always come back to the shop if ever I notice any glitches or problems at all. And so far, everything is running smoothly! I am really grateful for them and got lucky to have found their shop (considering that I found them through Yelp, too)!!! Thank you again!!! Great job everyone in Auto Europa!!!

I had a few issues with my Audi A6 that I needed checked out so I went to Auto Europa because of a deal Id found online. Ron the owner was incredibly helpful in checking out the car and giving me a detailed description of what needed to be done. He was very attentive and answered my calls right away for the followup questions I had. They got my car all fixed up in a couple of days and kept me up to date on what else I should do to keep my car in top working order. Id highly recommend this auto shop to anyone looking for fair, honest service you can trust. I plan on coming back for my future oil changes and any other mechanical repairs Ill need done. UPDATE: I had the check engine light come back on after a week and brought my car back to Ron to see what the issue was. Ron was very diligent about checking the issue and was able to find the source and fix it right away. Excellent service and support, will definitely be coming back and telling friends and family about Auto Europa!

Shady business. Tried to pull a fast one on us. Talked about assisting us in donating the wifes car to the YMCA, and then attempted to instead put one of their workers info down on the title. Also, when giving us quotes they gave me one number and when my wife was alone, they attempted to raise the quote price.
