Herman is an auto mechanic whom you can trust! I now call him MY AUTO MECHANIC! I brought my 2004 Volvo wagon in for some serious work that 2 other mechanics could not figure out and actually made problems worse by misdiagnosing the problem. Herman figured it out and fixed it in record time! He also explained everything to me and offered options for ordering parts to save a little money. I had another issue and I called him while on the road and a really big potential problem was averted. Thanks, Herman! This shop is not inexpensive but in SF who is thats any good? The only issue I have is that it is not open for extended hours so that was a little awkward for me. And of course, my ex-BF used fixed everything for me for free!

Auto Analysts have been taking care of my cars since the 1990s. They are the reason I can drive a 21 year old car! They do good work but, more, they see your business as a relationship. They dont do unnecessary work, rather they help you plan maintenance into the future, because they want you to come back as happy customers. I know Im gushing but, seriously, theyre the best!

Herman is very professional and competent. I feel like Im getting an honest deal and quality work for the variety of issues my car has had (rattles, check-engine lights, and various smaller issues,) which is obviously important when looking for a mechanic. The shop is shared with Otto Werks (I think?) so it may be a bit confusing when you walk in.

The team at Auto Analysts is just terrific. Ive trusted the care of my Beemer there for years. They are practical in their recommendations and honest. They also have a good network of other service centers - for example for glass repair and body work that have all been great.
