We locked ourselves out of our house around 10am this past Sunday in the Sunset District. I called Kevin because he was in my vicinity. Kevin was already on another job, but said he would be done in 20 minutes if I could wait. Sure enough, he showed up in 20 mins. Kevin was great. He first informed us that the upside down lock we have was probably put in by a fake locksmith especially given the price we paid for it. (Good to know. That last one only had a fast car and a tool kit) Kevins got a white truck with his company logo and the inside had legitimate items related to locksmith. Kevin tried first to lubricate the keyhole to see if he can catch a pin to open the lock. After trying for about 5-10 mins., it was difficult because of the upside lock. He instead took a long pole with a hook at the end and put it through a hole in the garage door and used it to hook the string that can manually open the garage door. He had to do it a second time but it worked beautifully and he didnt have to break or change our lock. It also cost us considerably less than the last time we were locked out. We got his card and will never use anyone else but him because hes legit! Well be using him to change our locks when we move next.

A very accommodating quick service with reasonable prices! Although he was about to head out on a job elsewhere, he let me know if I made it over quickly, hed be able to make time to duplicate two house keys for me. He thought perhaps one key wouldnt work and automatically made another with no extra charge and let me keep all 3 keys. Located in a residential neighborhood--very convenient!

I had broken off a key in my deadbolt lock in the entry door to my condo, and Kevin came out and did a nice job of getting the broken key out the lock, and lubricating the lock mechanism to the point that inserting the key, turning it, and removing it, is so smooooooth... it could inspire Prince to turn back the clock and write another hit song.

Kevin is a great guy. I found him through a google search. He arrived when he said he would and was able to unlock our door in seconds flat! Then worked with us to get the new locks in place while being friendly and professional. He went above and beyond to explain all our options. I would not hesitate to contact him again!

Came out to take a look at my lock for my front gate, but after inspection he recommended keeping the deadbolt setup I already had. Talked for a little about the options for the gate and the circumstances at my house and ultimately I agreed with his recommendation. Nice guy, and didnt charge me.
