I read about"The Job Shop" on Yelp, and while it took a little while for them to find me an assignment, they did come through for me, and I appreciate that they did. The Job Shop staff are different from some other temp agencies in the way they are honest, and forthright about whether they will be able place you based on your skills. They are not only interested in your contacts like some other agencies are, but they are interested in you as a person and what skills you bring to the table. I was so sick, tired, and disappointed at several temp agencies that I contacted, who practice deceptive ways of getting you into there office promising you the moon, with one hand shake, and in the other hand grabbing your contact list to gain access to your former employers in order to contract work from them. For me " The Job Shop", and its staff really do care, and this makes them a comforting and rare find in the city of SF, and also sets them apart from allot of the types of staffing agencies who practice this false narrative. With the Job Shop there are, No gimmicks, No lies, and No predictions or promises of the future. With the "Job Shop" you get just the facts and a promise that they will do there best to place you, and find you employment, and that good enough for me.

I went to the Job Shop in late December after having had no luck finding a job on my own after relocating here from New York City. Of course I chose odd timing because I visited the office literally a couple of days before leaving on a week long vacation but I wanted to get my information in. They didnt mind in the least and within a couple of weeks of returning from vacation I had a brand new temp-to-perm gig to start the new year! My 90 day temp period is up on April 11th and it has been such a great fit for me. Full time employment with wonderful benefits in San Francisco! You cant go wrong with the Job Shop. They will help you out!

Very nice people. Big promises, no follow through. They claimed to have so many jobs open that they were in desperate need of people to fill them! Truth is, they were the last person to come around and offer me a job when I was searching. Nice people, but obviously a super small outfit that was unable to make the grade because when it came to finding me an acceptable position in a timely manner they werent able to do it. They called two weeks after I had already found something. Too bad! Been there twice, and still feel it was a waste of time. They soooo did not help.

We use The Job Shop at my office to fill in when needed, and have been constantly impressed by those they hire. They may be a small office, but their professionalism well exceeds our expectations. Those they have sent to our office since Ive been here have been outstanding. And, from my and my companys perspective, The Job Shop and its owner are extremely ethical, and diligently work to be so. I have worked with them for a year now, and look forward to working with them again soon.

Unethical. Forced me to sign a document to waive health insurance, claiming I have spousal insurance. I signed under duress- I dont even have a spouse. They said I was considered for one position- the one they used as bait, but at their office, they claimed I would be too old for the company and made no introductions.

Of all the temp agencies I applied to, The Job Shop was the most proactive. They worked with me, explaining what sort of opportunities might fit my needs and abilities, found me a position right away, and presto, I was hired permanently at my very first position. Great job JobShop.

The Job Shop a great local temp agency, was there when I needed them. Got hired, for a full time job through them. The staff there are very hands on and supportive.
