The people at Terra (from my experience with the Kirkland and Seattle offices) just care about you as a person. That trumps their success rate. Integrity, KINDNESS, EFFORT .. These are things that cant always be measured with statistics. No, they cant promise you a full time gig with a cozy salary and benefits at your favorite company. If youre the type of person that is looking for somebody to hand you a magical opportunity like that then allow me to invite you from the rock youve been living under and back into the real world. They interview you and try to match you with a company that best suits your needs and qualifications and vice versa, and if youre a hard worker and youre qualified then theyll fight for you. You still have to show up to the job and be good at it but that was never really anybody elses responsibility to begin with. Hard work is rewarded by a payday. If you expect said payday to be enough to buy you a ferrari, well, maybe a staffing agency isnt where you should be looking. Try medical school.

Ive loved working with Terra Staffing so far. Im 1 month into a 4 month contract and the people at Terra could not have been more helpful. What I did - when I noticed a job on the Terra website that I liked, I called Stephanie, the recruiter for the position. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive. I explained to her what my background was, she conducted a mock interview with me over the phone to assess my qualifications, and offered advice on how best to conduct myself during the interview with the actual company. Whenever Ive called back to ask questions (payroll, benefits, etc.), the support staff at Terra have been really helpful. Occasionally the phones can get busy, but Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes before connecting with someone. Stephanie in particular has been stellar to work with. It feels like I have a genuine working relationship with her and that shes sincerely interested in ensuring Im happy with my work.

First, let me preface by saying that in no way is any of this exaggeration or hyperbole. I had been out of work for 5 months, going through several other staffing services like AppleOne. Months of bad offers way below my qualifications or too far, or even going long periods without hearing from them, I then approached Terra Staffing Group. I was contacted right away after submitting my resume, and came in to meet my recruiter. Yevon Yoo was so sunny and cheerful, it was a welcome change! You can tell she loves her work and invested in me from the start. I was put to work and connected with an employer even before I left the building an hour later. I started work the next week. Two months into my employment, I have found a happy home for myself, and hopefully, I am looking at becoming a full employee! All thanks to Yevon and Terra Staffing!

Recruiter never even contacted me back. The recruiter was also busy" when I came in for the scheduled appointment time. Why schedule an appointment if you cannot meet at that time? They took my information and did nothing with it, despite the fact I am a qualified candidate. I was offered 3 jobs that very week through personal efforts, and took one. Please understand that your candidates time is very valuable, if you cannot respond to emails, do not waste someones time in the job search. Usually not the type to write negative reviews, but there is no room for this unprofessionalism in the job hunt.

I really believe that the post by "Russ," is actually that of a staff member. My experience was just the opposite. These people are rude and look like a bunch of junkies in need of a fix. They were mean spirited, and not forthcoming about the nature of assignments to send you on. Dont believe me? Visit there site at the waste mgt facility on 3rd near Starbucks warehouse. The agent working there has enough grit on her teeth to use as grout. In addition, she had a nasty attitude during my interview. Do yourself a favor and never visit this place!!!!!!!

The two staffing ladies were late to my appointment. This was my first experience with a staffing agency and I was very unimpressed. It may be that the staffing industry does not staff for decent jobs but all the options they had were more of high school jobs, I felt I was overqualified for them and that they gave no interest in looking further. Furthermore, their list of clients was extremely small. If you want to be a janitor, work a drive-through or stand in a Home Depot parking lot, this is the place to go. Otherwise, you should look for a job on your own.

First off to all the people who "never had anything turn up and never got calls back", let me ask how much effort you actually put into getting jobs through terra, this is not a business run by your mommy, if you want to get work through this agency, you better be prepared to call them every day and see what they have available! I only worked for these guys for about a month last summer, however during that time period i had no less than 5 different temporary positions, one job lasted a week!

I appreciate the professionalism at Terra Staffing as they help me to find a permanent position. They have kept me busy with temporary assignments while I continue my job search and have offered very helpful coaching as I prepare for interviews. Communication is excellent. I check in every few days and I always get a quick response. The Front Desk Coordinator is awesome, she is very reliable in helping me connect with the correct people in the office.

As a candidate looking for a job, I was very pleased with my experience at Terra Staffing. The process in its entirety was very streamlined, and I had no complications or complaints. I worked with one other recruiting agency before I went to Terra, and I noticed that Terra has significant interest in customer support. I highly recommend anyone looking for a job to work with Terra.

My experience with the Terra Staffing Group in Kirkland has been nothing but superior. The Recruiters I am working with have nothing but the best interest of matching their talent with their excellent array of employer clientele. They are true professionals and I would recommend the group to anyone seeking a professional team to help them find a great employer/employee match.

It was great experience working with Terra. The recruiter I worked with was very attentive and communicative providing me with many different opportunities to work, pick up skills, and build professional relationships in positions that were good fits. I was provided with all the information I needed to go in to work on the first day well-informed and prepared.

Place was a joke, they call me in for a interview just to waste my time. I also, have called back and was told they are on lunch for 9:30 to 2:00pm, must be nice to be a employed person at terra staffing. I rather start my own business then be a "employed" through a headhunter klan. these places should be outlawed...
