Equipment not always well maintained (cardio machines sqeak sometimes which is intolerable while working out), & not always clean (clean your own cardio equip before use). Personnel super nice but not always knowlegeable about fitness classes & info. Do your own homework. They have no decent group exercise on Sat mornings...should have body pump & spin at a minimum....as thats prime time! Question is...how will this "active" (thats all it is really!) location fare when City Sports opens soon at Almaden/Branham?!? They really should have expanded into the old Safeway store....add group exercise space & make the overcrowded weight section have more elbow room.

I bought a Whey Protein powder jar at the store and when I took it home, I found out it had sugar in it and since I am a diabetic, I had to return it. I had the receipt, it was unopened and I went back the next day, but I was told that returns were not accepted. I was surprised and disappointed. They said I could exchange it for something else, but I did not need anything. I like the branch and the people are OK (I have been a member for over 4 years), but I was really disappointed. The return policy is not right. Beware, if you buy anything there, you are stuck, they wont do anything about it.

As many can tell only the its been upgraded without the perks. This place is a lot smaller and has less equipment than the close by parkmour gym, which is an active. Sometimes the place is randomly closed with no sign saying its closed with everything on. The rating is a based on what my experience at other SS have been. There are no towels, no extra amenities (pool, basketball, other), showers arent clean(early morning), overall less things to use( ex. 2 bench press compared no the 6 at parkmour.) As a supersport it fails, but if they went back to being a normal sports it would be average.

This location is not the best but it works. I have a super sport membership but I use to go here before I upgraded. Ive been here recently as well since I work and go to school and sometimes its just convenient in transit from point A to point B. Its always been a little dirty as far as the locker room (Mens) and the equipment doesnt suggest that this is a huge chain gym. I dont mind 24 hour fitness as corp but it could be better at this location. Ive been here almost three years and little has changed or been improved.

This is NOT A SUPPER SPORT!!!!!! how dare they call it one they took an active and because of the location changed the name to a supper sport... I pay extra for the supper sport membership because when I need to go before work I dont want to bring towels with me, I like the Sana after my work out and my big thing is that the location is CLEAN. The womens locker room stinks like mildew really bad. Half the bicycles dont work.... huh Ill never go back...

How does 24 Hour Fitness feel justified in calling this club a Super Sport club? My home club is the San Jose Super Sport, and this club is not even close. I thought with the name change they had upgraded, so I tried it. But when I got there the desk clerk seemed proud to say that nothing had changed. No pool, no sauna, no hot tub, no towel service. So I guess 24 Hour Fitness is lowering their standards for the club designations.

Apparently they "upgraded" this from an Active to a Super Sport gym but they didnt upgrade any amenities. No towel service, no pool, no Whirlpool, no sauna or steam room. Its run down and worse than most Sport locations. Disgusting small locker rooms. The manager said its only at Super Sport pricing because of the location. Disappointed with 24 Hour Fitness for allowing this disgrace.

I have been a member for the past 6 months. It is convenient since it is near my office & they are open 24/7. I mainly use the free weights & the place fairly clean. It does get crowded on weeknights around 5-7pm so I try to stay away during the peak hours. Overall, Im satisfied with this place.

Newer equipment, fancier locker rooms, and a cardio area with plenty of TVs and overlooking the main weight area. Weekend yoga too! I especially like the circuit training equipment - its equipment Ive not seen at other gyms. Plenty of parking in the parking lot, and a Starbucks nearby!

This facility really rates 3.5 stars, not 4. The reception area and workout areas have received a recent remodel. The locker room is really old, and showers are pretty awful. No towels, no sauna, no steam room, no pool. Probably....I would not make the drive a second time.

Overall a good place to train. Kids club has a great staff. The downside is the size of the place. Its very small and very crowded. Wish they would expand into the space next door. Move the aerobics and zumba along with cross training there to free up more weight space.

Gym need tlc and some owner to stop by they need to replace there janitors and walk the whole gym. I agree not a supper sport gym at all they bumped it for what I pay for all clubs but this one needs help before it shuts down.

I was really disappointed in this location. Its classified as a Super Sport, but doesnt have any of the Super Sport amenities such as pool, sauna, hot tub, or towel service. Its really just an oversized Active location.

As a Marine, physical fitness is paramount. They have everything you would need and more to start and stay in shape. I just think they couldve chose a better location.

Surprised that this place became a super sport. No added amenities at the moment, so I was shocked when the receptionist told me that.

One of the smaller 24 Hour Fitness clubs, but its conveniently located and always clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean place to work out. The equipment is not as ancient as some places. Some of it could use a bit of a refresh though.

Calls itself a supersport -- no towels and no pool. Absolute garbage and disappointment. Totally misleading

Rarely get a welcome in but the gym is kept clean (somewhat) and is better than any of the other 24 gyms.

Obviously should not be labeled a "Super sport". Doesnt offer the commodities but offers higher fees.

This is a large gym with two floors. They have a variety of classes. There is no pool or courts.

Google Maps said this was a Super Sport location when it was really an Active location.
