I have two issues. First, when I moved here one year ago, my carrier was GREAT. He had a great personality and customer service. He informed me that there was a history of thefts and not to leave the flag up, but that he would just collect any mail in the box. This worked GREAT. Then the carrier changed. The new carrier refuses to collect mail without the flag up. So, yesterday we placed a large number of checks for deposit in an evelope to be mailed in the box with the flag up. I noticed that the flag was down, so I went to check on it and our envelope was gone and nothing was there. However, later that afternoon the mail was delivered. Needless to say, I am not happy. Additionally, I have tried several times today to reach the Postmaster without any luck. The first time I called, I spoke with a real person and they told me that it would be two hours before the PM would be back. So, I left my name and number and told them that it was about a theft. They stated that the PM "would call me when she got in". Four hours later she still had not called and so I called back. This time I went into an automated system that has voicemail; unfortunately, the mailbox is full. If I was not in such poor health, I would drive down there immediately. This is just not the service that I expect from the USPS.

Why can the postal delivery people not get mail to the correct address? Once again today, we got mail for our neighbors and none for ourselves. The people next door arent the type who correct errors. No doubt theyll toss our mail in garbage. What do we pay the USPS for if they cannot even deliver mail to the correct address? Our address is on the front of our house in large numbers. Is it so hard to get the mail to the correct address?

Ive been waiting 3 days for a package pickup (I have no options) and have spent over 2 1/2 hours on hold. The Abrams Court location is the worst. They never answer their phone. The consumer affairs people are equally worthless. I hope they all rot in hell surrounded by packages for their loved ones that never get picked up and never get jobs after their pathetic operations close. They make the losers at DirecTV look barely competent.

Worst service ever I was there right at 9am The employees were talking behind door for like 10 minutes and it wouldnt bother opening the door and once they open they started working very very slow, then they say oh my god why are we loosing business? They need to start working as they are supposed to be working they got pretty good salaries im not saying that they dont know their stuff but they procrastinate too much.

Maybe Im the rare exception and didnt try to get a passport during vacation season. I had a very little wait and they were very helpful. When shipping a package they are also very helpful. If I forget a form they let stand to the side and fill it out instead of going to the back of the line. I think most of you are being unreasonable and you should also be getting your passport during the off season.

Got here on a cold rainy day at 9:06am. The line for passports was already 16 people long. I signed in and waited....and waited.....and waited. I was not seen until 12:15. But the people were pretty nice and got the process done quickly. Also as someone stated before, bring blanket or jacket. It is freezing in this building.

Over 10 people in line on a Friday afternoon...and one lonely person (5 open service windows) serving the publix. The condition of the office is ...well not well cared for and it feels like the attendant also feels a lack of love as well!! Sad....simply sad.

They "lost" a package of mine. That really was not lost but at the actual post office and magically disapeared. (Luckily not expensive). Also the carriers do not pick your mail up if they dont have mail for you. They will not take your outgoing mail.

Supposedly they delivered a package "Delivered, Front Door/Porch" When the business does not even have a porch. Did not leave a notice as if they were to leave it next door with the neighbor now package is no where to be found. Great Job USPS

I dont know how the service is here yet, since Ive been waiting here over an hour to get my passport. I did want to mention to others who may be headed here for the same reason in the same season, ITS FREEZING IN HERE!!! BRING A BLANKET!!!

Post offices in Bay Area are generally overcrowded. But the folks in San Leandro passport office makes it worse by being rude and incompetent. What a wastage of taxpayer money. If it was a private enterprise, they wouldnt have a job.
