Apple One was the first staffing agency I had ever tried. I walked into their State Street office by sheer chance (I was on State for some other reason). They were welcoming, and appeared to want to help me find employment, but in the four months or so since I first signed on with them Ive become less convinced that theyre a credible staffing agency. They have not called me with info about one job since the first week or two I was with them, and I cannot even get through to my representative. I think theyve abandoned me. Now, I typically dont write negative reviews of anything or anybody (prefer to spend my time in more positive ways). I thought it was necessary, though - since I had been looking up Santa Barbara staffing agencies, and was reading the reviews of them - to post my own about one I originally thought would be good for me. I have only worked in one office environment, and maybe they only like to handle people who have a lot of experience (or different types of office experience). Id think they would tell me that up front, though. If Im missing something, my mistake. If, however, they are just neglectful in the way they handle their agents - well, potential agents should be made aware of what they might be in for. B.t.w., I got an interview for a job with the corporate office of Select Staffing within the first week or so of signing up with them...and also am in regular contact with my rep there, so... To this point, Id also recommend Crossroads and Office Team. Well see...

I was hesitant to apply to Apple 1 because my previous employer had tried to hire one of their candidates, and the office staff at Apple 1 was horrendous! But, in trying to find a job, I decided that I would leave no stone unturned. What a joke this place is!!! Their help is awful!!! They never ever returned a single phone call, and I had to keep following up just to complete their initial paperwork. Over the course of 6 months, they never once called or followed up on the paperwork. If I called them, they informed me that they were really busy, but had no opportunities to send me on. If youre looking for help in this job market, I suggest trying Office Team or Accountemps. I went to them and they found me a job within a week. So much different in their approach and follow-up. Dont waste your time and energy with Apple 1!

Had to leave a rental car job due to the terrible hours and little pay. Was not able to pick up an interview on my own and Apple One was able to give me some options to stay in Santa Barbara. No b.s., if you dont have the skills for one of their clients, you will not find a job through them. They will not send people inexperienced to ruin their clients place of work or Apple Ones reputation. With this job market, look on your own, but why not have someone else work for you as well? Thats the way Ive approached this and worked two great contracts with them.

I just graduated from Westmont College in May of 2010 and was struggling to find steady office work. Nordstroms left me exhausted, stressed, and strapped for cash while I hustled to find better work. Just when I thought I was stuck, Apple One called to schedule me with not one but SEVERAL interviews. They went above and beyond in finding a great fit in town. I am making way more than I was making at Nordys with half as much stress.

I have had the pleasure of working with this great group of people for a number of years off and on (thanks to the quirky Santa Barbara job market.) They have gone out of their way to find jobs that fit my talents and have been open and direct in their dealings with me. I highly recommend.

I love AppleOne!!!!!! I had Ashley and Katie help me and they were amazing!!! Always had my back, always made me feel confident. I love the job that i got through them. I was truly blessed to have found them!
