I got my first real job through Express in 1999 as a single mom at a company that was well established and supported my growth and development through position advancement and pay increases. After redefining my career goals and graduating from college, I am back with Express and they are still awesome. It took a while to find the best fit for what I am looking for but they kept working with me and I am very happy with where I am at now. My recommendation to anyone working with Express would be to keep in touch with their staff, communicate your preferences and needs, and check back after you have been placed. Expresss role is not training; they tell you that up front. They do their best to place in your skill level and promote workplace safety, but ultimately it is up to the employee to use common sense and communicate if there is a mis-match in skill level or the job is unsafe. They have a lot invested in your success and safety. Also, they offer a competitive health benefits package that is actually affordable for families.

Terrible place to find employment. Put me in a position welding metal, didnt train me at the job and almost ended up killing another employee because they A) Didnt train me, and B) Didnt choose someone with experience doing this job. Second Job I had I was assaulted on the job for my lifestyle. They ended up letting me go because of I needed a new social security card to WORK FOR THE PLACE and despite telling them that, they were very keen to get rid of me despite another employee saying I could have the day off to get it figured out. Do not go through this company.They will have you work at the various manufacturing and food production plants for lower pay and no benefits. And those plants are ALWAYS hiring, so just go to them directly. Never go through this company. Very bad employer, very bad experiences, staff is demeaning and condescending.

They are a great place to fill out an application and when they get new friendlier personal, you might even be chosen to work.They advertise to bring you in, but really dont seem to have the jobs they claim.Seems like they need lots of names to be ready, but dont get your hopes up. One phrase youll hear alot is "well mark you as available." I think they are condescending and phony to people. Im sure the staff will change soon and then I would go to 5 stars........I miss Cozette she was an asset to that company.she was pleasant and genuine.

I read the negative comments and can not believe what I am reading....the staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. They placed me at a couple of jobs, the first was not my "cup of tea" but I was honest with them and they found me a better placement within a week. If you are patient, honest and open minded you will get what you put into it with them. I would recommend them to you if you dont expect the WORLD right off the bat. They will continue to work to get you what you are looking for.

Easily the best job I have ever had. Everyone in the office is friendly. As long as you care enough to want a job, they will find you one! Katie in the office is an absolute legend. She is very patient and I trust her with helping me every time! I tell all of my friends to try and find employment at Express, because I think it is better than anywhere else.

Ive been with the Express office in McMinnville, OR for about 6 months. Theyve been amazing to work with. They do a great job at making sure the jobs they offer you will actually be a good fit and they also provide regular feedback to let you know how youre doing. I had not been called to very many jobs before i found a permanent job outside of Express. But the one I had gone to was great. I enjoyed going back a couple times as my regular schedule allowed because I had been asked for by name, and I appreciate Express letting me know that.
