Apparently the prices are better than others... so I went with them. Overall it was average to below average. There are definitley some knowledgeable people that work there, like Dom and Brandy. The repairs were sufficient.. ultimately. That was once I finally received my machine. I set expectations from day 1 on the date I needed my machine by, about a month later. It was still delivered to me late.. and I had to keep following up! Then it was sent to the wrong address even though I had pinged the company about the address change and changes my info on the site. So the package was even later, and I HAD TO HAVE IT FOR A CLASS I WAS STARTING. It was for CED, Im in software. I wasnt very happy with the service. They basically just tried to sell me everything it needed and offered no personalization or explanation of tweeks that would better fit my needs or help my budget. My situation was unique. I had an older machine and didnt need the latest and greatest or even all new parts. At the end of the day I spent 450 when they proposed it at around 900. I had to claw and beg to get the info to make the adjustments, which I RELIED on the companies expertise on. That was super frustrating. Service is about customer service, not just taking orders and slapping on part/hardware to Macs. They offered me a used part at the end when the timing was getting ridiculous. My mac is 2006, why wouldnt you offer that from the get go? I would have taken it and saved money. The options, which were limited and expected only as order placement, we just bad. Bless Jens heart, she was sweet as can be, but Ive never been more frustrated with a person who answers the phone and doesnt know what they are talking about. She couldnt answer my question adequately and literally put me on hold 8 times in one phone call. Would I use you guys again? I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say yes. I would expect the experience to be much better next time. Id probably use someone local instead of someone who guarantees fast delivery and doesnt live up to it.
