Is there a way to give it less than one star? I took my Apple computer in to get it fixed because I had the "white-screen-of-death." The first time I took it in they told me they couldnt do anything right then because they needed a reload disc because my hard-drive had malfunctioned, and to bring it back as soon as I got that.. I brought it back and they told me it would be $130 to install this onto my computer... I could have done it myself... They told me it would be ready the next day. The next day they call me and tell me that my hard drive was fried and that I needed to have that fixed, so I came into the store and they charged me another $125 for a hard drive. Again I was "promised" that my computer would be fixed by today and "worst case scenario by the next day." So I waited until the next day and called them. They said it still wasnt cooperating and that they would call me back in 2 hours to tell me if they had success or not (this was at 9:00am when they opened.). I did not receive a call back from them by 6:30pm so I decided to call them and ask what was going on. They told me my Logic Board was screwed up and best case scenario it would be another $300+ on what I had already paid... I said screw it, give me my money back and Ill take it to the Apple store to get it fixed... Expecting the worst and thinking it was my Logic Board, I took it in today only to find that it was NOT the Logic Board, but the cable on my hard drive and it only cost me $56 and was fixed in a little under 2 hours. Apple told me if it was the Logic Board they would send it in and EVERYTHING that was broken or in need of repair on the computer would be replaced/fixed for $330.Please dont be scammed by Geek Squad... I feel like they just wanted my money. Take it to an actual Apple store to get any Apple products fixed.

We bought a computer recently at Best Buy & have brought it in several times to Geek Squad. We received wonderful help that we needed, very friendly & professional. Alex was the employee that helped us, but we are confident that the entire staff is all very good.

The worst. Shop amazon. Geek squad are a bunch of kids that barely know how to turn on a computer. Terrible service. Its just a waste of time. Go anywhere else.
