My experience with the Jamie, The Davis Computer Doctor, over many years, has been simply beyond description, with -- Countless rescues, some I thought unlikely or doubtful, Charges always considerably below others rates, and Great advice, often free, saving me money time and again. In the most recent case, well over a year ago and still ongoing, I have saved hundreds of dollars by taking Jamies advice on a difficult (for me) decision which involved switching from one operating system to another. His advice proved right, but the dollars I have saved have come right out of Jamies own pocket -- and he knew they would if I followed his advice. I had been paying Jamie over a long period of time for removal of viruses contracted by my computers due to my persistence in opening email solicitations from unknown sources. My visits to Jamie were "high anxiety" time -- excepting for his charges. One day Jamie began telling me that those expenditures could be avoided if I would simply switch to a different brand of computer, one whose operating system was extremely hacker-unfriendly and known for the paltry rewards it allowed hackers in return for their efforts. Jamie cautioned me that hackers around the world were beginning to ramp up their attempts to break through this brands defenses and that this safe-haven might not last forever. So, despite having to learn a new computer operating system, I went ahead with his suggestion, hopeful for some relief from the "virus" torture even for a limited time. Fast forward to today. The computer he recommended has been remarkably free of viruses and problems since I took Jamies advice. Today, I can truthfully say from long personal experience that Jamie the Computer Doctor is an expert in a class all by himself, with integrity to match his awesome expertise. (dcm - February, 2017)

My husband I had a major issue with our computer. We live outside of Winters, and there was power surge. Both computer would not boot up, he had medical appointments this week, actually tomorrow. There are important files related to his medical condition on both computer, but no where else. Monday morning we brought both computers to Jamie, Computer Doctor. We just picked up the computers this evening he had them for a little over a day. All the data was in place, and both computers are working fine. He suggested a back up system on line that he had a discount for that saved us $20 dollars. The back up service is with a online company so for $39 a year all the important files are backed up. He gave us a two for one discount for the data recovery, and the entire job was the cost of a dinner out. We can now go to the medical appointment, and are protected with our data backed up. We read all the reviews, on both yelp and google before we contacted Computer Doctor. We were impressed with all the positive reviews, there are some negative reviews, that is normal, no business ever pleases everyone. Ive gone to Jamie a few times with various computer issues, and every time he manages to work his magic. Now that Ive met him, I wouldnt even consider taking my computer anywhere else. In the past hes helped me out with a few horrible viruses, and my latest computer drama involved a corrupted OS that essentially shut me down. I feared the worst, but Jamie saved the day, as always. In just about a day, he checked my hardware, removed the software problem, upgraded my entire OS, updated everything I needed, and ensured that all my data was safe and sound. I work primarily as an independent contractor doing writing and website content management, so my laptop is absolutely crucial to me. He is fast, reliable, very responsive, and beyond fair with his pricing. I dont even want to think about what a big business wouldve charged me. To top it all off, hes a just plain nice guy who seems to genuinely care about and take pride in his work. Like I said, as long as hes around and in business, I will go to no one else with my computer. Thanks, Jamie!

From time to time I have called Computer Doctor, Jamie for several years, and he is the best in town, very reasonable in price, honest and very knowledgable, I have been a long time PC user and Jamie has kept my old dell running good for years. My daughter talked me into getting a Mac, and I was worried that Jamie might not work on Mac computers, no worry there, because Jamie knows Mac as well, he set me up with both windows 7 on my mac running boot camp and so now I have both a PC and Mac all in one. He is so easy to deal with, and has spent hours helping me with the transistion, with a fee that is very reasonable. I feel so confident knowing I have my own IT person just a call away. I had My laptop, which is My main computer, break. I cannot stand desktops and I didnt want to replace this fairly new laptop so I needed it fixed. I have used computer doctor for smaller jobs in the past. Data transfer and recovery. I have sensitive data on My computer and privacy and discretion is of the utmost importance. This little computer doctor is super helpful, explains everything, has reasonable charges and can diagnosis anything! I was informed it would take 2 days which I was willing to wait because I needed this machine fixed. After I gave My approval he went about fixing it and I picked it up 2 days later, just as promised. No hidden charges and no unexpected delays. I will be back whenever My computer needs doctoring!

I moved into a new apartment with just my laptop. Jamie set up a whole desktop system, ran the cable wire all the way around the door and around my furniture (the outlet was of course on the other side of the room where I needed my desk to be), was professional and extremely patient with my endless questions. Im a writer and everything Ive written was on my laptop. I was still in the mode of just copying my work on to another piece of paper. He carefully explained to me what a flash drive was for, backed up my work on to the desktop and armed me with virus protection. He even added a little instruction about Word. I guess Ive officially entered the 21st century World of Technology!

The Computer Dr. just left our house -- and once again we are VERY happy campers! His vast techie knowledge is so impressive -- and yet he is extremely patient with we who are humble computer newbies. He worked with our multiple devices at the same time fixing various problems, setting up a new tablet, upgrading security protection, etc. ... all the time explaining what we need to know in terms we can understand. Not only was he able to give a next-day apt, he most expeditiously took care of all our needs and concerns. We will definitely be using him again as needs be -- and we would highly recommend his services. Thanks Doc!

Its rare to be completely satisfied with computer repair, but I can wholeheartedly say that I am after a late-night visit to the Davis Computer Doctor. My computer had many issues, the most critical of which was my inability to access my email program. Jamie certainly knows computers. He performed a workaround that Id never heard of to get my system running and error-free again, in addition to giving excellent advice as a bonus. I had just spent more than 2 hours on the phone to AT&T repair techs and was completely frustrated. Ill never go anywhere else again!
