-I took my Samsung NP300E5C - nearly brand new - in because I accidentally melted a few Jr. Mints yes only like 3/4 when I closed the lid and left it for 5 minutes to take the dog outside. -I was told by them that they had melted into my "motherboard" and my computer was unfix-able. I needed a new keyboard, quoted at $180!! -To the present: I met a guy who has a degree in computer science and its been almost a year without having this thing cleaned, looked at, or having any problems with it since I took it in. Only emotional discontent thinking that backing it up every week was mandatory because it would die any moment... -He took it apart. Not only is there a metal separation barrier between the keyboard and the motherboard, we have the pictures for evidence because I want to be compensated for what they did to my computer... they welded the keyboard into it! So we could not unsnap it and clean the Jr. Mints out. OMG! I couldnt believe it! So, Im posting this here and also other places to warn people to never take your stuff to Nerds on Call. -FYI: I have pictures to prove this as we took the thing apart just last week finally. -Use local business/people!! And, Nerds on Call: get in touch with me if youd like to buy me a new keyboard and the metal plate underneath so I can have NON WELDED computer parts where they shouldnt be!!! -Completely incompetent, liars, and played me for a fool. $180 for a keyboard? They are $35 on ebay.... and snap in!

I am a self-employed consultant with a home office. I have maintained an ongoing contract for several years with Nerds on Call who provides me with great IT support when I need it. For a flat yearly fee, I can contact them by phone or by an icon on my computer so that we can "chat" and they can quickly remote in to address whatever problem Im experiencing. Technicians have also made house calls to help me with set-up, configuration, and picking up my computer to take in for repair. When they make an on site visit, thats an additional cost, but I dont mind because its part of my business overhead. I would recommend Nerds on Call.

I have been having issues with both of my email accounts and finally got fed up and contacted my experts. Patrick helped me with both. He spent a lot of time trying to find out the reason for both. One he was able to fix but the other is still pending but we have hopes. These people are super and have been giving me great service and help since 2007. I have learned some things I can do on my own but most of it I let them do it because they know way more then I do. I have never had a bad experience with them in all these years.

Sadly my laptop, was running very slow and nothing I did fixed it. A friend of mine recommended Nerds On Call in Sacramento... Even though it took a couple days to get my laptop back, it now runs like a champ. Nerds On Call called me first with a free estimate, the other guys dont do that. When they called they explained what I needed done (a tune-up of sorts) and when I picked it up they showed me how to use the new tools they installed to keep it clean. Overall I am satisfied.

I do not have the knowledge, the time, nor the desire to learn about how to maintain my computer or laptop. I feel that I am in the best of hands with Nerds on Call. They provide me with a wonderful sense of security and comfort that my electronic equipment is up to the challenge of protecting me against the bad guys, and in todays world that is priceless. I needed a new screw for the back of the laptop I was upgrading and they were nice enough to take the screw out, let me install the new RAM right on their desk, and made sure it was functional before leaving. Their customer service was fantastic and Id would recommend them to anyone looking for helpful, and speedy service.
