Nicole aka Nikki is rad! I called Sunday morning just to make sure they were open and Nikki answered. I told her I did not have much money and asked how much for a womens cut and she said $14 and I dont need an appointment. Awesome! I arrived and the place had filled up but I went to Safeway for a few minutes and bought some fruit and veggies for the week and came back. She understood immediately that I wanted a short cut for summer and to prep my hair for going blonde from brunette. I encouraged her to keep going shorter and bolder then she made sure all dead ends were off and worked through for an undercut that styled super cute! What made her even more fun was she had my guy friend standing right next to us and kept him on his opinionated toes by speaking her mind and sassing him right back. I LOVED it! It was a quick, easy and fun time! The price quoted was what I paid and she was worth a $140! Above and beyond she wrote down the products to buy from Sallys Beauty for a quick do it myself bleach and blonde job and told me how she does hers! Im going to be a repeat customer and highly recommend this little jewel that saved me so much $$$ and helped me look like I stepped from a swank, overpriced salon!

STAY AWAY!! Im not from This area but needed a haircut so I stopped in. They took me in pretty quick so I was happy. The woman cutting my hair allowed me to explain my simple guys haircut (#2 on the sides, 1/2in off the top). However, her skills did not match up. Basically, the top of my head had random lengths all over ranging from 0.5in to 1.5in. For guys thats a lot. How do I spike my hair when its 1in in the front and .5in in the back??? TERRIBLE CUT! Ill have to wait for it to grow to fix it. Till then itll be hat season for me.

As a student at UC Santa Cruz, this is where I got my (somewhat infrequent) haircuts. The stylists are nice, the wait is usually not too long and my hair always ended up looking...fine. Not great, but fine. And really, on a students budget, for the price Great Clips charges, fine is more than acceptable.

I had been to the Great Clips in Petaluma for their promotions when they opened and was not super satisfied but it was very affordable. I came to this Great Clips and was much happier with the haircut. Good haircut, affordable, and quick.
