Like: The facility is well maintained, friendly staff most of the time, and have a nice variety of equipment, I would recommend the equipment receive an upgrade to match that of the Montebello, or Downey location. HATE: I found the weekend manager ID# 1947418 to be very rude, and suffers a bad case of power dilution. The front desk employees sets the pace of a gym environment, I spent 15-20min in a dispute to why I dont have my membership card, or id and denied my request to view my picture and information on file. I found that to be the worst experience I have ever had, since being a member since the 80s. To and to add insult, the weekend manager refuse to allow my entry until I show ID. I thought a reason for hosting pictures, is to help minimize fraudulent users. This employee, risk the organization the lost of a long time customer, along with 2 additional membership and personal training fees. Simply because, he was not willing to provide customer service. I will continue to visit, but feel this weekend manager, should retrained, be reassigned a new role or relocated to a different facility.

Customer service is terrible. I work with people with disabilities and they always asked me and telling me that I dont work out just the person I take care. The other day a girl yelled at me because I went to the bathroom(outside of course) to look for my client because he sometimes takes a lot of time there, they made me feel like a thief, they always making a big drama because I dont have a membership there and they are always checking on me to make sure I dont work out there, one day one of the girls followed me to the restroom. And also sobody took advantage of my client with mental retardation n they activated a service using his card while I was in the restroom and now they sending his mom a bill for 80 of a service that he supposed to request when my vlient doesnt even know how to cross the street by himself. This make me really mad. We definitely are going to YMCA.

The Zumba instructor needs to watch her words with the members taking her class at 5:45. She told me something very disrespectful yesterday. I go in there to workout, not to make friends nor be a kiss ass to the instructor. If you are going to take classes at this time make sure you get there 20 min or 15 min. before because they always reserve places by placing water bottles on the floor. I think it should be first come first serve. If youre the manager reading my review hope you know I left home yesterday very hurt. She said something to me in front of the whole class. Everyone works out at their own pace and she should respect that!!!

I LOVE this gym, and Ive had memberships at dozens of gyms. I love the way the machines are organized - all of the chest machines from the various makers are side-by-side, as are all the abs machines, legs machines, etc etc which makes it easy to run thru and get a complete workout without having to search around as lot, and if a certain biceps machine is occupied theres a similar one right next to it. They have a huge freeweights room, lots of classes and a pool, none of which I use but is still cool.

Great gym clean organized. The best thing about this gym by far is the zumba clasd at 5:45 on tues. And thurs. Think the instructors name is Sandra. Honestly im not a gym rat I really just go for this workout its the best but get therr early because it geys totally packed and Dont get discouraged if you feel totally uncoordinated after few classes you will get it and it will make you sweat!

This is my neighborhood gym. Unfortunately, machines break down due to misuse and age but it takes for ever to fix them or they are removed from the flor and are not replaced. The spa was down for a month. However, I got annoying phone calls from different gym urging me to renew my membership even though it was not due in a month. Other gyms around the area have brand new equipment.

Worst customer relations ever! Ive been a member of La fitness for 10 years and needed a new barcode pass. The two ladies at the front desk ignored me, were rude, and gave me attitude beyond belief! I was the only one at the desk and it took 15 minutes to get my bar code. This gym has the worst employees and they need training asap! Dont go here.

Worst costumer service ever, last night me and my friend went to check out the gym and the "fitness advisor" was very rude and making comments out of place . Even when we ask for the memberships and prices he said he hates when people ask those kind of question and told us to check that online and dont waste his time with those kind of question.

The locker room is clean BUT I just started here today and already I have tried to get on 8 different machines that didnt work!!!! So frustrating! Sales ppl also gave me 3 different prices and still had to come in and ask because no one was clear. Its my first day of membership and Im already on the verge of cancellation! Not happy.

Overall the gym portion is good clean, however the customer service is horrible, what ever happened to the saying "The customer is always right?" had a bad encounter with the manager Melissa, and was treated like scum. Unless you want to be treated badly by staff go elsewhere,

The girl at the front desk needs Customer Service skills, she is very rude, shes on her cell phone most of the time. I also dislike the fact that the gym closes at 11pm Mon-Thur and at 8pm on Fridays, and last but not least... The kids club hours were cut! Very disappointing.

Love this gym i always get a GREAT wrk out the pool is a lit small n the ugly fat harry man that go inside is gross, but besides that the workers r very friendly n helpful. i drive from pico 2come here bc PICO GYM SUXS

This LA fitness location has a mix of newer and older equipment. The gym itself is clean as was the lockeroom. This location closes at 11pm unlike other locations that close at 12am

Old fashioned gym, need full renovation. But people and staffs are nice. The gym is not too busy, they keep it clean too. Unfortunately, many of treadmill machines are broken.

My only complaint used to be customer service but its a lot better now that the staff has changed. Also, there are way less people now that that theres another club near by.

Very nice big convenience and clean. There is never a time that I come here and the parking his pack where you cant find a parking space. Customer service is excellent.

Very disorganized in the dumbbell area and too many machines in such a small space makes it feel cramped. But hey a gym is a gym and can still get my workouts in!

Its closer to me but the equipment is old and out dated. I rather drive 10 more mins to Downey landing and their equipment is newer and the place is bigger
