I went to In Style because I had been needing a haircut for a while and found a Val Pac coupon in the mail. The coupon says: $14 haircut normally $22.00 walk ins only. I was surprised upon being charged when Nicole told me that my cut would cost $30.00. What about the coupon I asked. She told me that the coupon would allow me to get $2 dollars off. I was in a hurry so I paid her the $28.00 and left. I became even more suspicious when she didnt give me a receipt. When I called the Salon the next day I talked to the owner, who informed me that long hair is $19.00 and it costs extra to blow dry...She wouldnt tell me how much extra... $9.00 seems a little high dont you think? And she also told me that all the prices are on the coupon... They arent. and when I asked why the price wasnt 14.00 she said you got 2.00 off but you have long hair and we blow dried so it costs extra.... I dont see how this makes any sense, But no refund and no appology... Bummer.

I took my sons in for their haircut today and what a DISASTOR!!!!!! They always just get their head shaved with a number 2. I look over and Melissa has destroyed my sons hair!! She had it chopped so bad it wasnt even funny. I was infuriated!!! If you dont know how to use a shaver you can really chop up someones hair badly and she really knew how to chop. What made me even more angry was that the owner and/or managers said that my son had no hair in those spots anyway!! They even had nerve enough to charge me the $14!! Take responsibility for hiring these substandard beauty school dropouts!!! They even all the nerve to laugh at her mistakes. She even cut him in one place!! This rating isnt even near the poorness of what I truly think of this place. They need to be taken out of business!!!

I have been here a few times and had my husbands hair cut, they do okay on mens hair. No complaints there but, on my hair that is kind of course and wavy, which is challenging hair anyway, they didnt do so good. (normally I pay 50.00 at a salon in downtown Santa Rosa called the Chandelier Salon and I LOVE Bridgett there, she is amazing!) but I was trying to save some money and I am not pleased. The woman that cut my hair took very large sections and did not blend hardly at all. In some sections when I blow dry now it feels like they were not even cut ( I have many layers). I am not happy.

have been getting my hair, what there is left of it, cut here for over 5 years. They have been using a # two fitting on the shaver when they trim the sides of my head and I certainly have no complaints. The folks there have always been totally courteous and friendly. And when I come home my wife even complements me on the hair cut. The ultimate critic. I suspect the woman with the two children and her complaint may have other issues at work.

I wanted layers. Thats it. I specifically asked if they knew how to cut natural curly hair since I had just cut my hair the previous week somewhere else and they messed up on it too. So I knew what to ask to make sure a second cut wont get messed up too, but of course, just my luck, they screwed up too. The girl made TWO layers on my hair. Bottom half, and Top half. Cut straight across. Smh. Never again!
