Here is my Yelp review. An absolute disaster. A nightmare of an experience. Poor customer service. I would not recommend Anderson Automotive doing business as the Toy Shop. I originally came in for a brake job. According to their team, the rear seals were leaking and had coated my rear brakes in oil. The job would be approximately $1,000. The very next day, I received a call from George letting me know there was a "small" issue with my truck. Overnight, my truck fell out of the lift and landed on another vehicle. There were multiple points of impact along the driver side of the truck. So now I had to get my vehicle into a body shop to repair all the damage. A week later, my vehicle still had not had any work done to it because there was a problem with their insurance as they had just taken over as new owners. 2 weeks after that, my vehicle was finally ready to be picked up from Kniesels. The Toy Shop tried to get the vehicle from Kniesels ahead of me in order to hold it for ransom so I would have to pay the full amount. I told my rep at Kniesels not to release my vehicle under any circumstances. The Toy Shop also had the audacity to have Kniesels secretary "remind" me that I had an unpaid balance with the Toy Shop. I spoke with the Toy Shop and explained to them how incredulous it seemed for them to expect me to pay them in full after they had dropped my vehicle and had caused me to be without my truck for 3 weeks. Rather than do the right thing, rather than treat a customer right and have them as a repeat customer, the owners decided that the absolute best they could do was charge me the job "at cost". In summary, I had the worst experience ever with this car mechanic and I would encourage others to look elsewhere. It doesnt matter if their equipment failed or if their employee failed. The bottom line is they screwed up royally by damaging two separate vehicles. I hope the other owners post their experience as well. Im curious to know if they were forced to pay "at cost" as well for their vehicle.

Great service. Took the time to diagnose and fix a problem I was having with my 2004 4runner, and didnt charge due to the fact it was a small issue. They easily could have charged a diagnostic fee. Also, when I said my vehicle was high mileage and I wanted to have everything looked at, they were very honest in stating what I did or did not need, and when I would need it. They could have taken advantage of the situation and done unnecessary work, like a lot of dishonest mechanics do. I appreciate their honesty and will definitely trust them when it comes to working on my car. Be sure to make an appointment for small things such as oil changes. Their racks fill up quick and they might not be able to accommodate you without an appointment.

I have been getting work done at the Toy Shop for 16 years. And Jenna isnt out to kiss butt. She is all business but is also very good to customers. Different personalities are what make life interesting. Those who posted negative things obviously dont understand how much crap you go through at the desk of a repair shop. People commenting about Playstations sold on Craigslist or mis-diagnosing a blown head gasket; you guys are those people that complain everywhere you go. Never happy. If they told you the test showed a blown head gasket, they believed that was the problem. The automotive industry is tough and stressful.

Took my 4runner to the toyshop and they diagnosed a blown head gasket. They had done a block test. I later did a block test myself and it came back negative for combustion gases in the cooling system. These people lied to me in hopes of me committing to a 2800 dollar repair. I am disgusted with these liars. Beware of this shop.

Helped me diagnose a problem that another Toyota specialist and the dealership failed to get right and they did it in an incredibly short amount of time. Beyond that, they repaired the problem only after walking me through options that would help me save money on parts. Over all, the cost was 1/3 of what it could have been.

One of their employees named Ryan sold me a broken Playstation 2 on Craigslist. He told me it worked perfectly fine, but when I brought it home, it didnt work at all. I tried to get him to give me a refund but he wouldnt. If they hire someone who is seriously that dishonest, I wouldnt trust my car with them at all.

I have taken two cars in over the last couple of weeks. They did a good job. Larry seems very honest and is good about explaining the job and any final recommendations. I do agree with the earlier review though, the blond in the office definitely needs some customer service training!

They do a great job. I am so impressed with this old school attitude of taking very good care of the customer. My Toyota was fixed right & it cost me way less than I thought it might be. I trust Bill & Jenna completely. Youll not be disappointed.

Knowledgeable and thorough mechanics, but the woman at the counter is very pushy and rude. Ive had it with the treatment and will go elsewhere. Ive been a customer for 15 years- I wish the former owner, Bill, was back.

The Toy Shop has been servicing our vehicles for 13 years. They are friendly, honest, and I always know that I am in good hands.
