Fedex compounded poor service with lies and attempted fraud. A purchase was shipped to me by a retailer using Fedex. Even though shipped from a location 8 hour drive from my house it took FedEx two weeks to deliver the item. After I made repeated calls to the retailer,threaten to suit them for the return of my money FedEx sent a driver over to my house in the dead of night to attempt place a note on my door saying they were trying to contact me. My dog gave the driver away. The following day the Mgr. called claiming they had made several attempt to contact me for delivery. When informed him I had been home everyday for three weeks and no one had come by my home or left a note; he switched his story saying per policy they attempted to contact me by phone. When challenged for the number called he gave me a number that was not my number. Nor was the number listed anywhere on my purchase paper work.

I have a security gate. There is a big sign at the entrance telling everyone to push the button so I can let them in. Fedex is the ONLY delivery company that cant figure that out. If I have to pick up the package, I have to get someone with a car to drive me to the office, hire a cab, or push my wheelchair several miles up and down hills to get the package. It is a simple sign saying, "push the button and dial 114" on the keypad. Nobody else seem to have a problem during the last 10 years.

Everytime I go in there, I end up leaving to go to officemax, because the poor clerk is swamped with demanding people all by themselves. They are always nice, and properly staffed it could be a nice place.

fed ex has consistently failed to deliver my packages. they claim that they cant get into the building--but every other delivery company has managed to arrange this with the buildings management.
