This UPS store will Rip you off. Every time Ive been in they charge at least double the online shipping rate. When you question them on the charge they immediately lower it, calling it a discount. Most recently they wanted to charge me 49$ for a regular 15lb ground package. The standard online rate for this package is 25$. when I questioned them on it they immediately "Discounted" me 20$. Then it took the sales clerk 2 days to send out my package and I had to call three times to get a tracking #. If you have to use their services, remember that their prices arent set. They try to make it sound like they are, but you can always haggle with them over the cost.... And never let them pack your item. If you have to, have them pack it in front of you. Some research will tell you that these stores are all rip offs. They operate independently from UPS, set their own prices, and if you have a problem with a store there is no way to complain..... UPS wont take the complaints on the individual stores.

If I could rate them with ZERO stars I would. This place is really expensive!! They charged me 9 dollars for 4 envelopes (The cheapest orange ones). The woman that was "helping me" was really rude and did not allow me to send an envelope with stamps on it inside another envelope (as required by the process I needed to complete) because they would not know how heavy the envelope they were going to send me after was going to be (You have to be kidding me, is just a letter, just 1 single piece of paper!) she wanted me to use their sticker with tracking number so she can charge me $64... just ridiculous! They also tried to charge me 89 dollars just to send a letter from CA to NY with tracking number! What?! that is insane! I have used UPS in other cities, and it is more expensive normally, but this one is the worst. DONT GO THERE!!

I will give this store 0 star if possible. I went to ship my important legal document to Canada and I paid over $85 dollars for over-night shipping and I only learned after one week my receiver called me that he never received my document. I went to the store to check the status again and the owner told me that they were trying to contact DHL for the shipping. What? Shipping in UPS store with DHL? Why? I never received status update even though I provided my email as she promised me to send email for status update. She never contacted me about the status of my shipment, only told me that she was trying to contact DHL and me when I went to the store to check the status. Liar!! Never go there to ship anything!! Worst shipping experience ever!

ssrajan72, I should have read your review before I went to this place. I 100% agree with you on ZERO star. Too bad customer service and complete rip off for Notary service. I ended up paying $75 for 5 signatures. In fact, they asked me to get notary for the signatures in OCI application where it was no required as per check list. When I asked this, they told "You came here to get the service and we did not call you to come here". Vow. Then, I do not want to pay for the pages that do not need Notary and canceled the transaction couple of signatures after long conversation. I will NOT recommend this place for notary.

I had to drop off two packages, one to FedEx and one to UPS. They were both in the same conditions. The FedEx place was helpful, friendly, and not expecting me to pay a bunch of money for a single piece of tape. The UPS place, on the other hand, was not only rude but demanded extra "fees" for a single piece of tape. My biggest regret is not logging in here first to see all of the negative reviews. If I had do so, I would have gone someplace else. STAY AWAY. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I use to be a UPS guy, but after this experience, Im now a FedEx guy.

I was misguided by the lady who work here, is sending my packet thru some iShip career I didnt ask for.. I clearly mentioned that I want some better career, more secure for important documents. I came to know about this blunder when I received a mail from iShip_Services regarding my packet.. I regret going to this store, I would have went to USPS and the packet would have delivered in a day by paying 1/3 price. This was the worst experience. Please do not visit this store ever. I can not believe this would happen to me in United States.

I went in to send a domestic parcel, the rate the lady quoted me was almost double the rate I quoted from ups website, she said the rate from ups online is just an estimate, but for the same weight she quoted almost double ??!! She tried to sell me a pack n ship rate which for about an extra $20 she could package the item for me. I walked away with my parcel and ended up with FedEx, for the same ground service, it costed less than half of what I would have paid at ups, beware of this shop, its a scam.

I thought perhaps the other reviews were isolated instances so I gave this location a try... 1. Dropped off an Amazon return package- They were quick and helpful. 2. Asked if I could mail 2 keys to a local area- They responded that it was going to be $7 or $8 WITHOUT tracking...I was so shocked I just stood there trying to figure out if I was hearing correctly. Absolutely ridiculous, I assume they simply prey off of people who are desperate and have no other options.

The lady (Store associate/owner) is Damn rude and sarcastic. She makes insulting comments on customers, questions their capability to pay to use UPS service. She may even charge you for inhaling oxygen (natural resource) while you are in the store, She just doesnt know how to speak to customers. Frankly, she should not be in business with such a pathetic attitude. Manner less creature. Just dont go there or else you will be highly disappointed.

Stingy store where theyll try to wring any money they can out of you. Just moved here with no cell service, wifi, or printer yet. Asked to use wifi to get access to my email so I could show them the label they needed to scan, but was told Id have to pay $3.50 to get on an ancient computer and print out the label. Cheap, unaccommodating, and ridiculous in this day and age. All my future UPS business will go elsewhere from now on.

I tried to mail one small letter only and got cheated. After school, I went there around 7pm and thought to try if its still open. The Indian lady told me to come back tomorrow with the letter and would tell me how much it would be. I came back the second day with the letter, she ask me to pay $54 to ship it to Taxes..... Is it even possible just for a piece of paper???????? The store is greedy and cheats for peoples money!!

No More UPS. ups messed up my package. i sent my package on Monday and people there told me it would send to Chicago on Fri. however, my package arrived Chicago on Thu, but it returned to San Jose on Fri. i called UPS to ask, they told me they were sorry b/c they put my package in wrong pile. WTH. they promised to delivery my package on next day, the truth was it took them another five day to send my package in right place.
