I brought my Jetta here for repairs in order to pass the smog test after taking it to many other mechanics who were unable to help me. Anthony and his team were extremely thorough in investigating what was wrong without charging me an exorbitant amount for labor. Once they diagnosed the problems (and there were many) they made it so I would pass the smog test but they also identified parts that needed replacing, leaks, etc that were seriously affecting the integrity of my car. Now my car runs a million times better than it did. I was close to getting rid of this car and now Im confident I will get many many more years out of it. Overall great experience, and everyone who works here is incredibly professional and friendly.

This is definitely my mechanics of choice. For any one in the St. Helena area, this shop is trustworthy, installs excellent parts, and has totally competitive rates (I always call around). I drive an Accord so I can do most of the maintenance/repairs myself, and I am very picky about who I trust to work on my car. The mechanics at Auto-Metric are very experienced and have perfectly diagnosed every problem Ive had that I couldnt figure out. They have always been happy to take a look at my car, even when they werent charging for their service! Auto-Metric is an honest, local shop that I have thankfully found and highly recommend for all in the area needing a good shop to help with the needs of your automobile.

Ive been coming to see Victor and the friendly crew at Auto-Metric for the past seven years. The helpful staff had helped a great deal to keep my 1989 BMW 325i Convertible in great working order, and now my 2000 323i BMW. The knowledge of the staff is comforting when dealing with regular services. It is great to know there is a good spot to take my car in the St Helena area, that will always do a great job, and always greets me with a smile. These guys are great. Apparently theyve been in St.Helena for 13 years and Ive never known of them. The other shop wanted over $1100 for a new water pump and brake rotors (which seems like an easy fix to me but I dont know cars very well) and as soon as I called Auto-Metric they had me bring it in at 9:30 am, and had the truck back to me by 5:30, OH and they only charged me $680 for the same work. Very reasonable and honest quotes, very nice family-run business. Give these guys your local support, theyve earned it.

Excellent automobile service AND superb customer service! I have had multiple high mileage cars in for all types of service (104k miles, and 221k miles). These cars have maintained their performance and dependability like they have 40k miles, and runnin smooth! I can depend on the car with 221k miles to make it up the Pacific Coast Highway to Olympic National Park this summer. Thank you Auto-Metric.

I wont go anywhere else! These guys helped me out with great service and got me back on the road in one day. Here are a few words to describe Auto-Metric, honest, efficient, reasonably priced and great people with the customer always in mind. I would recommend anyone not only in St. Helena but in Napa County to make Auto-Metric their number one auto repair shop.

I would not go here. Shady employee changed my oil on a Sunday and made me pay cash - told me he couldnt provide receipt. Also has a minor working for him. 4 months later and my engine is smoking and I have a terrible oil leak. Cost me $180 to have it fixed. DO NOT GO HERE

The boss is so friendly and kind. My coworker told me the battery and engine belt are too weak and need to be replaced. The boss suggested to get the oil changed with a full inspection which just costed me 90+ dollars, pretty good deal.
