I called Dial One Sunshine about 7:30 AM on New Years Eve, one of the coldest mornings of the year here in southern California. The dispatcher said they would have someone to the house between 12 and 3 PM. Actually, Shawn G. showed up early - 11:30 - and went right to work. It took a while to determine the cause of the problem because it involved both the furnace, the thermostat, and the AC unit, but he made a thorough analysis of the situation and tested all the probable fault parts. He informed me of his progress as he went along and I appreciated the information. When he isolated the problem (a thermostat that had blown because of a power surge), he showed me two replacement thermostats and described their various capabilities and asked for my preference. The installation and subsequent testing took just a few minutes and he was soon ready to leave. Shawns manner was friendly, positive and polite. He was very friendly, both to me, my wife and our dogs, who wanted to help him as best they could. He noticed that my wife had done some gourd carving and commented that his mother did the same. He actually called her to send him some photos her her work so he could show them to my wife. We were very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him and Dial One Sonshine to our friends. Shawn is a fine representative of the company.

Everything from this company was exceptional: customer service, the willingness to accommodate, and the most important part-- the actual plumbing! After some weird scheduling issues (on my end), Johnny was willing to drive to another plumbers house in order to get the equipment he needed to do the job. Once he got there, unfortunately for me, he was unable to get what he needed and I was just going to call back and reschedule. Well, without a draining kitchen sink, washing machine, and not such a sanitary shower situation, I was downtrodden. That is, until Eric (the gentleman who had the equipment we needed) called me later that night and scheduled me in for first thing the next morning! I was honestly taken aback. The fact that Eric reached out to me was exemplary customer service. Eric got to the house, explained what he needed form us, and then did his thing: he even let us look and take pictures of the camera going in the pipe! It was actually pretty amazing. He cleared out what needed to be cleared out quickly and efficiently. I will absolutely be calling this company again for ANY of my plumbing needs. Thank you guys very much for helping us out of a tough situation.

John M. with Dial One Sonshine did a great job repairing our kitchen sink plumbing and disposal on May 22. He arrived on time, assessed the problem quickly, outlined the work that was needed to be done and estimated the cost. He had the parts needed and began repairs promptly. He worked straight through and finished the job to our satisfaction. We also asked John to check our Htg/AC/Water Heater and he identified a potential problem with the AC system. Again, he assessed the problem quickly, presented an estimate and installed the part quickly. John is a true professional and we will ask for John the next time we need service from Dial One Sonshine. We strongly recommend John M. and Dial One Sonshine if you want quality work at a reasonable price performed quickly and efficiently.

John M. Came to the house within an hour of the call and was very friendly and professional. He performed a thorough assessment of our heating system and advised of all the options available in an honest manner. He understands that safety of my family was paramount and he took the time to explain the process and how he came to the estimate- which waqs VERY fairly priced! The entire team was here on time the next morning. They, too, were professional and prepared my house for the installation. They, again, understood the importance of safety removing the old unit and explained the process as they were conducting the install. They cleaned up and worked around my schedule even as they finishing up! Thank you for the great job that you did! I would definitely recommend to others!

John McEwen was my visiting technician. Wow! What an education I received from him! He was so generous with his wisdom and experience and taught me how to open my vents to obtain best use of the air conditioning unit. He was fair, honest and educational and I felt an immediate bond as he explained everything to me while making me feel respected and intelligent (even though I have no clue!). He didnt hold back with what he thought was the best treatment for my AC unit but he also layed out options with both their detriments and beneifts. I felt like I had a real knowledge of how the units work and how to better use them to save money on my monthly bills. Ask for John...he wont let you down!

I have been a long-time customer of Dial One Sonshine. I have always found this company to be very professional and reliable. They call before coming, and are always on time. I have used this company for a variety of plumbing, heating and air services. They explain everything they did in a way that a layman can understand. Their prices are very reasonable. I have had John and Tyler McEwen come over three times now, and each time their conduct was professional and courteous. I believe they are valuable assets to Dial One and that management should keep them as they both represent this company well. I would definitely recommend both the company and John and Tyler to our friends.

Worst experience every with a plumber. They came out for a pre-paid maintenance of my water heater. After 5 minutes of flushing the guy decided to stop because, supposedly, the drain valve was too small to let sentiment through. He did not bother to check the anodes or anything else on the unit. So, I ask him to check the A/C unit, to which he basically washed it down with a garden hose. I could have done that. Then he wrote a proposed maintenance bill for the water heater totaling over $2,000. The parts quoted would have cost from $200 to $300. I looked up the prices on-line and found that these were about $20 items. Do not use these guys. They will rip you off.

Eric responded to assist my elderly mother with a possible leak in front of her house. Dial One Sonshine sent my mother a photo of what the technician looked like. She appreciated that. When my husband and I arrived, Eric and I my mother were discussing the issue. Eric was so patient and kind to her. He was also professional and seemed so honest. Eric seemed very knowledgeable and was very thorough. We did find the problem. Eric was wonderful. I highly recommend Dial One Sonshine for their work, promptness, and integrity. From the gal answering the phone to the technician, our experience with Dial One Sonshine was pleasant and successful.

He came out with a bad attitude. We had a problem with our water heater. He said the water we had was nothing but junk and he considered it just throw away and we should be glad it lasted eight years when it was only meant to last six. He said he could probably fix it for $250. He changed the part and it still didnt work. He still charged us $150.00 even though it didnt work. He said we needed a new water heater and he could put one in today for $2000.00!!! Really?? We called our son-in-law and we went to Home Depot and got a water heater for $520.00 and he installed it, What a rip off!! Wont be using them again!
