My 4 yr old water heater wasnt working so I called to schedule an appointment. I was later told by the Gas Company that the water heater needed a Thermal coupler replaced. I called back and asked the lady who answered the phone if her guys would be able to help me with that and she said yes. Im thinking awesome, quick and easy. When the guys came out they said they needed to order a set of new parts that everything would cost basically arm and a leg. Paid them $39 for coming out and well I got an "I told you so" from my dad. So the next day he drove 3hours to come to my place after work to replace the Thermal Coupler which he said cost him $8 and it took him about 30mins to replace. So far the water heater is working and theres finally hot water. Thank you dad. I would include my dads number here but hes getting older and the last thing I want is to inconvenience him.

Our water heater that we bought 8 years ago failed twice. This time we wanted to by a new, more reliable water heater that would last longer and with less likelihood of problems. Weve used R.K. Knight Plumbing and Rooter in the past to replace our bathtub faucet and unclog our drain. They did a fantastic job! Again, we called Ronnie at R.K. Knight and told him we were getting quotes for a new water heater. His price was fair and he recommended a top brand name water heater for our home. Ronnie is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He sent out one of his top-notch technicians, Lou, and he came out and replaced our water heater with the new one and hauled away the old one. Lous service was professional, friendly and he was on-time, coming out the same day I called. Great service. I would always recommend R.K. Knight Plumbing and Rooter!

We were looking for a good plumber for our gas leak. We had several come over and give us quotes, but R.K Knight was the most fair as far as price and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The others we had seen were questionable. As soon as we gave them the green light, Lou (the plumber), immediately started digging. He was excellent! It took 2 days and it was done. The work was done perfectly! My favorite thing about this company was the thank you card we received days later that was manually signed. In this fast paced world, nobody ever takes the time to do this. Makes me really think they value their customers and their business! Very impressed! We would absolutely use them again!!

After 20 years it was time to replace the Wall Mounted Kitchen Faucet and the 2 water valves for the clothes washer. I had them come out to give me a quote. They were on time and very professional. Shawn the tech even advised me of the possibility of problems were he may have to open up the wall. We scheduled the work, Shawn was on time and went out of his sway to do a good job. Unfortunately he was right about having to get into the wall. So there was a slight increase in the labor. When he was done he cleaned up his work area . We have used them in the past and this time was no different. Excellent work.

The $40 for the plumber to come out does not apply to any work. So there is no real incentive to use this plumber if the estimate is high. In my case the estimate was $200, so I paid the $40, went to a local hardware store, bought the two parts needed for less than $20 and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. It would have been worth the $40 labor + $20 dollar parts to have someone else do the job, as I am getting older and crawling under a sink is not comfortable. But there is no way that this was worth over $200 all told. You judge. But I consider it an attempt at a rip off.

He arrived on time. Received a call before arrival to inform me who was coming and what time he would arrive. Reviewed work needed and gave an estimate before starting on the jobs requested. Very professional and courteous. Got the job done in the estimated time given. Called office regarding a question about ice maker he installed and he called me back with information that was correct. He took the time to call the manufacturer to verify the information before he called me back. I would call back for any repairs needed.

I want to congratulate you on your plumber Randy. He is a very very nice young man. Probably the “nicest” plumber I’ve come in contact with. He is an example for everyone else in your company. I would hope he would be the one to answer my call for repairs that I have in the future. Even though he had to return the next day to fix a leak that developed I still feel the same way. Also the gal that takes the calls is very pleasant and courteous.

Very positive experience. Had a clogged drain line and I called on a Saturday morning thinking that Id have to schedule for the following week sometime. Instead, Ronnie came over that same morning and fixed my issue in less than 30 minutes. Professional job, and he cleaned everything up nicely afterward. Then I get a note in the mail thanking me for my business! I will be contacting them the next time I have a problem.

Very timely, we got Lou from RK Knight to come fix a clogged drain, who quoted us a better price than another company (by $100) to install a clean out valve on the outside of the house. He came back within 2 days to install it. Now our drains work perfectly, and the next time we get an inevitable clog itll be cleared more easily! (Also, the house increases in value now that we have the C/O valve installed). Thank you!

Provided a quote to fix the shower faucet and completed what turned out to be basically half the needed work. My mother was told they would get back to her since the shower was still unusable, but she never heard back. Drain work was recommended, after the original job was completed, but not quoted as part of the full job and now she is left with a shower that we paid to have fixed and is still unusable.

R K Knight has been our plumber since 2002. Theyve always been professional and courteous, even putting up shoe covers before they enter your house. The "straightforward pricing" sheet tells you exactly how much it will be before you authorize them to perform the work. Theyve always been punctual, professional, and done the job in a timely manner. I wouldnt use anyone else!

The first time was for a clogged bath drain, and the second time was for a leaking water heater. Both times, Ronnie Knight was the repairman.
